Family fun, adventure and relaxation

The house was perfect for our family of 5. What is missing from the review, is not only how wonderful and clean the house is (we loved the back yard), but that the house is set in a beautiful community where there are awesome walking paths everywhere and a large beautiful community pool. I loved my morning walk to the local coffee store and strolling around the community hills. The house is within 30 minutes of everything we wanted to do - hikes, Old Town, horseback riding, etc. We’d spend the morning out and come home to enjoy the house pool or community pool. It was the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure - we will be back. The hosts were warm, accommodating, and answered any questions within minutes. Highly recommend!!

Perfect Family Vacation

The house exceeded all of our needs, and unquestionably was the best equipped vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at. The location of the house was ideal and central to most everything we needed. Our family of 6 (adults) had all the space we needed both inside and out. The hosts were very helpful and informative. We will definitely be back for another stay at this property.

Great family vacation home

We have been to Scottsdale multiple times for family trips and this house is my favorite of all the places we stayed. Beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you need. The fire pit was wonderful, and the house has a ton of built in entertainment for our 3 teens and their friends who visited staying close by. Could not have been any happier! Convenient and close to many things (your grocery is 4 minutes away) and located in an upscale neighborhood. Thank you Kimberly and John! We will be back.

We had a blast with the kids in the pool, walked to the great local park, hiked the trails in the mountains, and sat out and drank wine under the stars after the kids were tucked in. What an awesome time!

Great home, great location

We spent a short work/play week at the house. This property is true to pictures and is well stocked in kitchenware, spices, linens, cleaning supplies, etc. We enjoyed the front bedroom office desk with monitor when we worked from home. The large kitchen island made hosting our kids for dinner an easy prep/hang out area. The back yard has space heaters, fire pit, heated pool (extra fee) and a large table for gathering. This house is 5 minutes from TPC Scottsdale/McDowell Mountain golf club/DC Ranch.... Easy access to the 101. The trail head to McDowell Mountain Park is just across the street.

Great Spring Break

The home was perfect for us and had everything we needed (2 adults and 4 teenagers)! We enjoyed relaxing by the pool (with waterfall feature) and loved that there were trails for hiking within walking distance. Our teenagers were thrilled that there was a Starbucks just across the street! John and Kimberly were great getting us settled in and fixing a minor hot tub issue. Hope to return next year:-)

We had a wonderful time! The house was everything as advertised. Everything was immaculate and the best stocked home we have ever rented. The McDowell Mountain area is the best part of North Scottsdale (our opinion) and the neighborhood is quiet, safe and the walking paths are perfect for morning or evening walks. The beds were super comfortable. We just could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful home that exceeded our expectations!

We came to Scottsdale to escape winter for a week and we absolutely loved this property! It was super clean, beautifully decorated and well furnished with all the basics and more supplied. The owners, John & Kimberly, were just great. They were super helpful and even came right over when we couldn't figure out how to start the grill. They made sure we were comfortable and that all our needs were met and questions answered. In addition, they refunded our damage deposit before we even got home. The neighborhood is fantastic, too, with its wonderful Coyote Trail and close proximity to shopping and restaurants. This is an exceptional property that will not disappoint. We will be back! Our family had such a wonderful time in Scottsdale! The house was very nice and clean and had everything we needed during our stay. We loved that there was extra care taken to insure safety through the back door leading to the pool. There was even a pack n play and high chair to accommodate our youngest child. John and Kim were always quick to answer any questions and also checked in to make sure we had everything we needed while visiting. We would stay here again in a heartbeat...5 star rating for sure!

This home was great and well equipped to make for a perfect trip! The proximity was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring as we always do when we come to Scottsdale. We have family that live in town & had them over one night for dinner. There was not only plenty of space for entertaining but the kids enjoyed their time in the game room. So much more than we Expected!!!!!!!

We can't say enough about this beautiful home. Everything was new and the décor looked like it was straight out of magazine. We walked across the street to The Vig... the food was terrific and such a fun atmosphere with great mountain views. We took full advantage of the hiking trails in the neighborhood that took us up into the McDowell Mountains. We would highly recommend this home.

My wife and I decided to have a Staycation in AZ and couldn’t be happier that we picked this house! It was absolutely perfect to say the least. This home is so welcoming, fully stocked & furnished beautifully. We enjoyed our weekend lounging in the pool in the very chic & contemporary backyard which gave us the feel of staying at our own private sanctuary! The location was perfect, privacy and yet close to restaurants and shopping. Our only complaint after such a relaxing weekend was that we had to check out and get back to reality. Amazing House!!!!! Absolutely perfect for our Scottsdale get-away and the best VRBO we've ever stayed in! This property far exceeded every expectation we could have had. The home itself was more high-end than any other property we’ve been to. John and Kimberly were meticulous in the selection of furniture, appliances, towels and even the linens... everything appeared to be new and was very comfortable to say the least. Toiletries are provided and nicer than hotel options. The kitchen (and outdoor kitchen) are both great to cook in. We liked cooking here so much we never made it out to dinner. They provided a welcome binder that contained instructions for the home and also had local maps to restaurants and places of interest, which was incredibly helpful. The house was extremely clean and gave us the feel of staying at our own private resort. The location couldn’t have been better. There were walking, biking and hiking trails just up the street. John and Kimberly were eager to help make our stay first class and were always available to answer any questions we had. All in all this is a rental I would highly recommend.

Obsessed with this home!!!!!

We’ve stayed at several of John and Kimberly’s vacation rentals over the years and this one is just as wonderful as the others. These two really should have their own TV show as impressive as their renovations are. Every home, this one especially, is designed to perfection with absolutely beautiful finishes and furnishings throughout. The home was immaculate upon arrival. The beds are again high-end and incredibly comfortable with high thread count sheets and towels so soft that we’re going to buy the same ones for our home. Once again, the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and even provided olive oil and spices for cooking. Having supplies like shampoo, conditioner, body wash and make-up wipes really gives it a feel of a high-end hotel. The backyard felt like we were staying at our own private resort with a great outdoor bar, plenty of seating and lots of entertainment playing Bocce Ball and Cornhole. It’s going to be a difficult decision on which of John and Kimberly’s properties to stay at next year, but this one is probably going to be the leading contender.

Fantastic Property in Scottsdale!

Prior to staying in this vacation rental, we read many of the reviews of Kimberly and John’s other properties and choose this home in part because of how many past guests have made it a point to mention how great the communication was and how responsive John and Kimberly were. They seemed to all talk about how well the house was stocked, how clean it was and overall, how well it was managed. The reviews were spot on as all of that is true of this property as well and then some. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals over the years and this is the best by far, for all of those reasons as well as how beautifully appointed it was. The house is obviously newly renovated and what a great job they did!!! The furnishings and finishes were even nicer in person and well exceeded our expectations. There is a TV in every room and having the pool table and shuffle board was great entertainment. The backyard was private and had everything you could want from the pool and Jacuzzi to all the lawn games and a nice fire pit to sit around at night. The BBQ seating area was great for cooking and dining and all the outdoor furniture was very comfortable. There is a great restaurant less than a block away, so we enjoyed being able to walk. The food was good and they even had live music the night we were there. We have found our permanent vacation rental for every time we’re back in Scottsdale.
