Amazing getaway on Webster Lake. House was perfect for our family. Host was very informative. Looking forward to return in the future. Sunsets were amazing!!
We had a wonderful week at Lake Webster. The water is beautiful, the lake is quiet, and the house managed to fit our whole crew. Two young children, adults, dogs - we all had a great time and enjoyed staying at this house.
Pros: The lake is beautiful! The water is clean and warm, there's good swimming, fishing, and boating. We took some really nice kayak trips along the lake (and into Chance pond and the back river under the bridge behind the Lagace beach ) The sunsets are glorious. The dock is great, and the location as a private peninsula is really nice. The house is spacious- we fit 4 adults and three teens very comfortably. The renovated downstairs is great - we watched movies and played ping pong there and spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch. Franklin is a sweet town (Wyatts Family Diner was awesome, Profile Falls is pretty but a bit buggy). The cons: The house is on a steep hill across the street from the water - we were there with two grandparents and the walk/grade was significant enough to be inconvenient. We managed this but it might be significant for folks with small children or any mobility issues. Added to this, there are no chairs on the dock and no good places to keep things by the water, meaning we had to bring the chairs back and forth every day (we put them in the garage so we didn't have to bring them all the way up and down each day, but it was another piece of daily overhead). The house is nice enough, but it feels like a rental that is missing a bit of attention to the small details -- broken fans, no dish rack in the sink, and a few small other things that added to a general sense of inconvenience.
This was a great property with everything you could imagine for a vacation home. It made it super easy to get away from home and just relax. I highly recommend this rental.
My family and I had a wonderful week's vacation. The house and lake were beautiful, and we spent a lot of time there. We also enjoyed hiking and shopping in the area.
Louis and Klaudia are wonderful hosts. They are very quick to respond to any questions you might have. My family enjoyed the lake house very much. We went kayaking, swimming and paddle boating. Our family enjoyed barbecuing, watching the sunset and watching shooting stars by the fire pit. We ended our trip with a hike at Profile Falls and a swim.
We could not have found a more perfect place for our quick get away! Our host was phenomenal with communication prior, as well as offering a well complied information guide! We are planning to make this a yearly tradition!
We had a wonderful stay at Louis's place! There has been a group of us going away together for a long weekend for nearly 15 years and when we saw Louis's place, we knew we wanted to check it out. The house was perfect for our group of adults and kids alike and the beach just a short walk away was also a great spot, especially with kids. Louis was very communicative and flexible with accomodating a last minute change and was helpful in recommending a local place to get good pizza. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Louis!
We love to come to the white mountains for the fall and usually stay in the conway region, but this year we decided to venture to a different area. Well the was a great idea since we enjoyed the area a lot. The private area on the lake made it even more fun, the kayaks that are available for guest use are great, we will need stay in the summer so we enjoy the paddle boat. The new game room addition was enjoyed by all of us. Only sad part was that we could not use the fire place in the home, but we understand why....
We loved our stay at this lake house. The waterfront area across the road was beautiful and extremely private. We loved taking the kayaks out in the evening. The huge wrap around enclosed porch was definitely the highlight of the house from morning coffee to evening sunsets. House sits up above the road and is super private.

Thank you for spending your vacation with us Eric. We hope to have you back again soon
My wife & I had a great time at the property. The waterfront was incredible. Swimming, fishing, kayaking… it’s all right there.
Extremely private and comfortable, the house is fully equipped for all ages to enjoy!!
Communication and flexibility from Louis was prompt and he was very flexible. What a great place!! Will definitely look to book again!!
We loved our stay. It has the relaxed, welcoming vibe of a vintage lake cottage. The waterfront is isolated from neighbors which we and our dog enjoyed. The porch is huge and is where we spent most of our time. Views are great. Louis came by to put one of the docks in early for us-- and allowed us to extend at the last minute. He was a great host. We'd come again.
We had a wonderful stay with kids and adults. The place was perfect for many ages and more than one family to stay together.
The dock space is across the street, but it was very close and still safe to walk with small children. The kids couldn't touch the bottom anywhere near the dock, but the small town beach is a very short walk down the road and that was perfect for young kids.
Overall, we all had a lovely time and enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive and helpful. We would happily stay there again. Lake Webster is so beautiful!
Very nice place to stay on the water. Large family
For 8 day. No problems. Plenty of room inside an out. Will be back. Louis was fantastic. If you have large family this is the place for you
Louis is a wonderful host! The house is really great. Lots of open space and windows everywhere! The upstairs loft was perfect for my son. It is a very comfortable home. The private area down by the water is a small slice of heaven with two docks, a float to swim to and a hammock for reading and relaxing in the shade. The lake was perfect for us - lots of swimming, kayaking, fishing and paddleboarding. Highly recommend!!
