We had a good time while staying here. The pool was nice. The cows were entertaining. We were disappointed when the grill and flat top were not operational since we had planned on grilling and purchased the food to do that. All the bath towels were not put out and finally found them in the dryer. It would have been nice to have this done upon arrival but this did not deter us from enjoying our stay.
Very nice and secluded. Included a bunch of beach towels for the pool which was very considerate. Everything was as described. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Hosts were very accessible for problems. Would book again
This is a great home to stay in! Our family had so much room with plenty of beds and bathrooms! It’s a lovely home and in a peaceful location away from town. We loved that our neighbors were cows! The pool and outside gathering areas are so nice! We really enjoyed our stay!
No propane for BBQ. Had to buy propane. Then grill caught on fire because was not cleaned properly. Great location, decent place. Also no large knives we could find for cooking.
It was a great state a absolutely beautiful home only thing is it was a lot of crickets everywhere in the house..We had a total of 10 adults one of the bathroom shower knobs was broken so trying to take a shower in the morning and at night was kind of difficult because we lost a bathroom. Other than that, great place.
We had a very nice stay overall. Very beautiful, well built home. We felt very safe here. One thing to note is that this home is out in the middle of nowhere. Be prepared to see cattle in your backyard :)) That said, here's the things to watch out for. The water heater is not large enough so it only held enough hot water for 2 showers and then will take another hour or so to heat back up. The bed in 2nd main bedroom broke the first time my son sat down on it. He's probably 155lbs. Also, the interior doorknob to the master bedroom is broken, it cant be latched or locked. The home needs some upkeep.

Exterior Lacking
Upon arrival we were greeted with foot high lawn and a dirty pool
I was told the maintenance team would be mowing the lawn that they were delayed due to storms and the pool was the owners responsibility
My little sister cleaned the pool so that we could enjoy the pool.
The interior of the house was Beautiful and comfortable
Upon checkout after three night stay we left with foot and a half high lawn
House was pretty nice over all there were a some dirty spots and could use a deep clean and updating & bug control- No tvs in the rooms- Fan outside was inoperable-Surpise there are cows hanging out - kinda cool but don’t remember that been mentioned- Low celing upstairs needs a warning sign and arcade - room?? Maybe board game room and beds upstairs were Less then comfortable- pool was nice and put door area inviting.over all was a nice place to visit with friends and family while in Sherman for a wedding

Cows, Snakeskins, Spiders, Wasps OH MY!
If you are seeking a country residence surrounded by cows, snakeskins, and spiders, this property may suit your preferences. However, it is important to note that maintenance is severely lacking. The living room carpet is dirty, the lawn was overgrown, and the owner was not kind enough to return the large trash cans to the house, requiring us to walk the trash down the lengthy driveway to the curb. The pantry was unusable due to evident mouse droppings. The home is outdated, with dangerously slick bathtubs and no bath mats provided. The shower curtain was molded and requires replacement. Additionally, the plumbing needs attention, as we had to purchase a plunger ourselves. Some bedroom linens were not clean, but fortunately, we brought extra linens. The backyard was infested with wasps and nests, though we brought spray to manage the situation. Birds in the backyard leave droppings on the patio furniture. Patio furniture is old, wood rotted and dangerous. Owner filed claim against my travel insurance to get new furniture to replace the already old & severely damaged chair & bench. My brother fell to ground while sitting on bench. On a positive note, the pool was enjoyable for the children. The Blackstone grill, smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, and dryer were convenient and useful. There were also some dishes available for cooking and grilling. Stay at your own risk!
