This laid-back, modern shotgun-style getaway offers an open living area with new double reclining sofa, fully stocked kitchen, two full bathrooms with tub/shower combos and one cozy bedroom on the main floor with a queen size bed and office area. Upstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms for a peaceful night's sleep. The second bedroom has a full size bed and sitting area, while the 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. The second bath is right at the bottom of the stairs and beside the spacious laundry room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials, including a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge. We even provide a coffee grinder and beans for your morning brew. The kitchen is open to the living area for a connected space for meals and games! There is a cabinet loaded with games, cards, puzzles and coloring books. We include pamphlets and information on local eats and attractions!

The best part? We're just a short 12-mile drive from the breathtaking Red River Gorge, making it the perfect home base for your adventures. So, come on over, and let the Yellow Door Cottage be your cozy retreat for the season!

They are the love of our lives! We love to travel as well and I’m constantly planning a new trip! We get it! We love the proximity to all the Red River Gorge has to offer and the convenience of shopping and food nearby! Stanton is a bit like Mayberry. Quiet and friendly and just the perfect spot for a fun family trip! Plus in bad weather our streets are always cleared.
