Great Weekend Getaway Proximate to all the Local Attractions

The two-story home provided us a great weekend escape and proximate access to all that St. Augustine has to offer without being in the hustle of the downtown area that is a short bike ride away. We are returning soon and hope to book this property again.

Excellent Stay

Have been to St Augustine many times; location of this VRBO is ideal also walking distance from FishCamp restaurant along with just about everything else. Private and comfortable; would definitely stay again at this property.

Great place and location

We highly recommend staying here if you want to be right in the heart of all the amazing sights St. Augustine has to offer! Our family absolutely loved the home, and the hosts were fantastic with communication.

Although we were there for a celebration of life for our sister, this house is actually one block from my old residence on South Street! We always love coming back and reliving our memories!

The property is located in a very quiet historical (Lincolnville) area. Very close to the downtown area. There were a few minor things that needed attention ( lots of black scruff marks are the walls, the cover over the ceiling light/ fan was broken, small hole in the bathroom wall). After checking in, I texted the property manager. He responded immediately. Beds were comfortable. It would have been nice to have additional towels/facecloths . There were 2 towels, 2 face cloths and 1 hand towel for two people for five days. Overall great experience.

Excellent location

When you walk in the house is clean and lots of natural light. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. It's about a 15 minute walk to historic downtown so you are away from all the noise. The neighborhood has historic sites as you venture into George street. Highly recommend.

Retirement get away

Very happy with our stay . My best friend from high school and I both retired in 24’ so this was our celebration. The weather was the only disappointment. So much to see and do in the area that we really enjoyed our week in St. Augustine. Thank you

great little short weekend stay

we loved the house... only two thingsi i would change would be the availability of more towels... we had one set for us and had to wash them daily and second the beds, they are very close to the ground making it very difficult to get up and down. Im 5'6 and it was tough for me.. my parents are taller and older making the short height very difficult getting in and out of bed. Master bath has a window in the shower, so you will need to let the window fog up before getting in otherwise you are giving the neighbors a big show... other than that.. i felt like the whole house was perfect... clean, had everything you need to cook with and most of all best location for getting into downtown without having to go through lights.

Lovely potential but problems

This is a really nice property in a good location. Unfortunately, there are several things that are not yet ready. It is new and things still need tweaking - at least that is what we are chalking it up to. While we were there: -Hot water heater switched off the breaker -The bed in the Master bedroom broke during the night. This was not due to activity. We were sleeping. We fixed it three times after we had to move to the other bedroom during the night. It appears due to the fact that it is a flimsy bed frame. -There is an electric outlet that doesn't work. -There was water leaking from the kitchen sink. -The clothes dryer didn't work so we air dried things. We did ask for them to drop off clean towels because we were there a week. The towels came much later than promised and too late for that evening's or the next morning showers. We are handy and fixed things when possible and reported to the management company, but this type of thing should not happen in anew house. The house needs to be ready for renters who are paying a fair rent. We asked for adjustment to the price, but were told we will only get a discount next time we come. Sorry, that is silly. We will not come again.

Lovely Stay!

Lovely stay!We really enjoyed our stay. The home was pretty well appointed - the kitchen had everything we needed to eat in several nights. The neighborhood was very quiet. The backyard was great for the dog, and it was pleasant to sit outside in the night air. The location was easy walking distance to St. Augustine Distillery. We were also able to walk to most of the popular attractions. Until next time!
