House was a pleasure . Host provided a very clean house and clear instructions on using the hot tub and sauna and outdoor fire pit. This house has everything you need and more to enjoy your stay.
My family enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. There were plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable and extra pillows were available in the closets. Really enjoyed the TVs in each bedroom. Check-in / checkout was easy. Also enjoyed evenings and mornings on the patio. Only downfall was having to take trash to community dump station about 10 minutes away.
The house was great, waking up and seeing the mountain was awesome! The house had everything we needed. Lots of space for our family! Thanks for hosting us!
Beautiful home but must have a humidity issue? House smelled very damp and musty. We kept doors open to help air it out. I do believe a house humidifier was running. WiFi does not work well in basement bedrooms but worked in Living room. We were able to enjoy the hot tub 1 evening but could not figure out sauna. I’d give the visit a 6/10. Host did communicate very well with instructions for the trip. Thank you for allowing us to visit.
The property was nice and in a great location. The house was well stocked with everything you could need. Lots of things to do at the resort and within short distances.
We were able to use all of the advertised amenities and really enjoyed the house! It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We would stay here again!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and was stocked with everything needed if you forgot something. The communication with the owner was great and answered any questions we had. The hot tub was definitely a bonus! The view from the top bedroom was amazing! If we come back to this area we would definitely stay here again!
We had a fantastic stay! The property was very well organized, and the managers communicated excellently throughout our visit. All amenities were in perfect working order. This is a great spot for families—right in the middle of everything. We highly recommend it!
We enjoyed our girls weekend getaway here! The resort is beautiful and the area is breathtaking! The house is very clean and organized. Communication with the host was very easy.
We really enjoyed our stay at Chateau Jolene. This home is furnished with so many amenities. The host has thought of everything. Wonderful neighborhood and so much to do nearby. We would most definitely stay here again.

This house, built in 1979, according to Zillow, appears to have many of its original fittings—faucets, tub spigots, curtain rods—and feels old and a little in need of repair. The kitchen is fully functional, as are the bathrooms, and perfectly adequate. My adult children, who were part of our group, said the grill was encrusted with residue from previous uses. We were disappointed in the house, though it was clean and the owner was pleasant. We thought it would be brighter. We will be more careful next time.
We had a wonderful time at Massanutten and Chris was a great host. The house was the perfect size for our family..the bedrooms are roomy and very comfortable. The deck is really nice with plenty of seating. We really enjoyed the open floor plan… we
Highly recommend this house.
Property was excellent and manager extremely responsive! 20 minutes to park entrance. House held our group (12) extremely well. Would stay here again in a minute!
