The home was extremely clean, superior to most rentals. My family especially liked the downstairs game room. Very comfortable living room for gathering and watching TV. Hosts were very responsive to questions that we had once on property. Highly recommend.

This property was amazing! The house was stunning and exactly as pictured. Super clean and everything was comfortable and well maintained. Beautiful area with tons of activities. Highlight was enjoying our morning coffee outside on the deck and having 5 beautiful deer walk past grazing unphased by us sitting there. Would definitely stay at this property again.

We spent a weekend at this property and it was a great experience. Everything was on point. Amenities were plenty and it was nice and clean with a quiet surrounding. Parking was little tricky because of the slope of the hill, but I can't blame anyone for that. Additional parking was available if needed at a nearby location. I would definitely come back to this place if I happen to return in the future. Thanks to the host for being responsive when I needed.

We all enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Great host, sent the details and updates ahead of time, quick response. Parking 3 or 4 cars was tough, but hill area, so it is understandable. Definitely recommend this cabin and host for my friends

This was our second visit to The Bear and we once again had a great time in a beautiful well appointed house. The owners are fantastic and checked in to see if we needed anything. The new fooz ball table was a hit!!!!

Amazing Cabin

This property was amazing. Check in was super easy and the cabin was spacious. The host communicated often and was great to work with for our stay. We definitely will be back in the future.

The home is very clean and there was plenty of room for three couples and kids. Massanutten offers lots of activities but it is somewhat inconvenient to have to pay separately for every activity. The nearby Shenandoah National Park offers wonderful hiking. Overall, it was a good place for a family vacation.

Beautiful well appointed property!

Our family had a wonderful time and enjoyed all the games, clean and spacious house, nearness to skiing, and the views!!We plan to rebook this Bear retreat!Our granddaughters enjoyed trying to find all the bears!

The host was very welcoming and responsive. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Parking was tricky and we did need to use the overflow parking near the pool. Only issue I can think of is that the handles on the spatulas would fall off…….obviously, not a big issue, only mentioning in case the owners would like to replace them.

Wild wonderful Weekend!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful lodge! It was above and beyond our expectations… Immaculate very well appointed… And the owner was extremely accommodating and very friendly and responded with any type of need… I will look forward to going back there again… Definitely a five-star home !!
