Beautiful lake House with Hot Tub!! Enjoy the beautiful 80-acre Hohman Lake in this 3-bedroom, 2-bath lakefront property. This home has a hot tub, washer and dryer, full kitchen, fire pit, screened-in dining area, kayaks, and many other amenities. There is WiFi and an HDTV with a DVD player. Guests will have access to the entire home and waterfront access with docks. We make ourselves readily available to guests before, during, and after arrival via phone.

We had a great time and also managed to keep a teenager entertained! The bonus of the included wi-fi helped with that. Love all the wild life. The flock of geese likes this property and they will probably be in the yard each morning. Would suggest to any nature lovers.

Peaceful and Clean

Met up with a friend here for a quiet reading weekend and it was perfect. Very peaceful for a rainy September weekend. Shelley was great at answering our questions quickly in the lead up to our stay.

Perfect lake house getaway!

The house was perfect, very clean and had everything we needed. The lake was so peaceful and we enjoyed hanging out on the screened in porch. The hot tub was great after long hikes at several of the nearby state parks. Highly recommend this property and I hope to be back again soon!

Great Retreat!

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! It was nice to relax in the hot tub, fish off the dock, and kayak in the lake! It is about 15-20 minutes to town, so it is best just to come out and relax. I would definitely recommend this property, and we will be staying again in the future!

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful property. The entire home was clean and charming. 3 bedrooms was perfect for me and my 2 adult sons, everyone had their own space. The lake was so serene. Pics dont do it justice.

Beautiful!

The house is set on the most beautiful property. My kids loved the kayaks. I loved the peace and quiet of it all. The pictures don’t do this property justice! The host was amazing and very quick to respond! I’d rate this place 10 stars if I could!

Peaceful and secluded bakehouse

The home was spotless, and well stocked. The property had great amenities like the hot tub and kayaks, 2 screened porches & a swing right by the lake, and a beautiful birdhouse with bluebirds in residence! It was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. We loved that we had to drive to Paducah & Brookport for restaurants and tourist fun, because that meant our home away from home was away from all that busy-ness! I can't say enough great things about this property. I hope to return!

Great weekend!

House had everything we could possibly need or want to have a wonderful weekend. The screened porch was great for relaxing, kayaks were fun, nice little dock for fishing or stargazing. We even went for a swim! Perfectly clean and in good condition, and was near enough to go to Metropolis and Paducah for entertainment. There's a dollar store in Brookport for all of the items one inevitably forgets to pack. XD

Short Get-Away

We never stayed at a lake house. It was clean on the inside, the beds were very comfortable, hot tub was nice, the area by the lake was nice with the swing and dock was cool. Did not realize that in this area there are no leash laws so you have to be careful while driving because dogs just seem to come out of nowhere, and dogs are left outside overnight. Communication was outstanding and any questions were answered immediately. Thanks again for your lovely lake house.

Brookport Lake Hohman

We loved the view, the lake, the large screened porch. Only 2 complaints: The lower gazebo was missing the door, so we couldn’t use it. It was screened, but without a door, bugs got in. And, the hot tub rules were ridiculously strict. We decided not to use it for fear we’d be accused of not following rules. I really think they should be known on site before you go

Awesome!

We had the best time. The house was fantastic, the view was fantastic. The host was fantastic. I have nothing but good things to say. We will definitely be visiting again. It was very clean, and I'm picky. Everything you need cook was there. The host even supplied some of the basics, which was really nice, because the house was so nice, and the location we wanted to spend time there. Usually, I'm up and out sightseeing, and there's plenty of that in the area too. Loved it! Wish I didn't have to come home.

Everything was nice except the Internet never worked. Password and user ID never worked or showed up. To the point that we were there for a wedding and we couldn’t even talk to my son. To coordinate with him on important things for the wedding.We had to get on some open Internet that would go in and out.

We had the best mini getaway at the Lake House! We soaked in the hot tub, cooked meals on the fire pit and ate alfresco at the picnic and fire pit area. We enjoyed gorgeous sunrises over the lake.Such a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place for the reset we all needed.

Great mini vacay!

This cabin was just what our family needed to get away for a few days. Not far from Garden of the Gods, horseback riding, Paducah, and Metropolis. A very relaxing time!

Relaxing Stay

Great spot on the lake. My partner and I visited Brookport last year and decided to bring family this year so we decided to rent this bigger cabin. No issues at all with the stay and had everything we needed.
