Casa del Rio, a River House in Millsboro!

Come stay in our lovely home in Millsboro by Indian River! It is a cozy small home with a lovely deck and yard for relaxing. After a long day at the beach come home to cook a meal and rest. It's a small town feel where you can walk to get all the things you need.

It offers easy access to the Delaware beaches (under 20 miles) of Bethany, Rehoboth, and Lewes, as well as the Maryland beaches (under 30 miles) of Fenwick Island, Ocean City, and Assateague Island, where you can see wild ponies!

If you want to explore the area beyond the beaches, we are just two blocks from Cupola Park on Indian River. There you can grill food, have a picnic, fish, launch a paddleboard, kayak or canoe and paddle for miles. Many restaurants, supermarkets, coffeeshops, an Art League, Library, antique and thrift stores are within walking distance.

The space
Enjoy our cozy one level, two bedroom home with a deck that is perfect for outdoor dining. The home has character and an open floor plan, seeing from the dining room to living room and den. Located on a spacious 1/4 acre lot, you can watch the sunrise from the deck or your bedroom, and see the sunset from the front porch or dining room. The patio is great for relaxing, entertaining, overlooking the lush green pines and blue hydrangea.

The dining room and living room easily accommodate six people for dining, relaxation and conversation.

The den has a comfy couch, foosball table, smart TV, puzzles, games, and books for your convenience. We have a full size desk and dedicated workspace for working or studying from the home. Take a quick break and have some fun playing on the foosball table! The living room has a full size sleeper, and cozy chairs for conversation and relaxation.

Other things to note:

No pets allowed on the premises for allergy and safety reasons. There are local daycare facilities.

There is a fire station nearby which is good for safety, though infrequent sirens can be heard.

Transportation by bus to Dewey Beach is on the 215 Line.
