My husband and I rented this beautiful cabin for an anniversary. It was amazing as we stepped in the door as the cabin is so big . The living room was massive Multiple areas with TV watching a wonderful hot tub and access to the lake The bathtubs were absolutely amazing and so huge Everything was very clean and well appointed.Many options for dining inside or out and we were so busy enjoying we didn't even have time to check out the game room they had which I'm sure was wonderful Great spot for family or couple getaway Highly recommend will return soon And we'll probably bring our pup next time .

Inside, the cabin was pretty much exactly what was listed. There were a couple of minor things that could have been more clean (pots and pans). However, outside it was a mess. I get that it's at the end of a season, but there was only one kayak and two paddles. In the pictures, there are two kayaks. The dock was by far the worst in terms of cleanliness. Again, I understand it's the end of the season, but it was disgusting. The hot tub was clean, the fire put was great, but several of the outdoor things just didnt match up to what I expected- especially considering what I paid. We've stayed at several lake houses over the years at LBL. This isn't one I'll return to.

We truly enjoyed the property. Everything was as described in the listing. The location was very peaceful allowing you to enjoy taking advantage of everything the property offered. We enjoyed the firepit and just relaxing down by the water. We definitely will return to this location when we are in the area.

My wife and I stayed here with our puppies to celebrate our 15th Anniversary. The property is very nice and the host was very helpful and very responsive. We had a relaxing time, enjoyed some of the local sights and eateries, some reading and some fishing. Enjoyed seeing deer and other wildlife. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay if you stay indoors the whole time. Inside of house was very clean. Had a few issues that could easily be remedied. One of the bedrooms had a queen size box spring with a full size mattress on top. The screened in porch had white dog hair all over the floor and some animal poop on the couch. The outside definitely needs some attention. Patio sectional was covered in mold and the house definitely needs to be pressure washed. Yard needed to be mowed and dock is really dirty. Not worth the price I paid per day.

Hosted thanksgiving here

Perfect cabin for the family. It was clean and relaxing. They were very accommodating for dogs and kids as well. The lake was beautiful. Would highly recommend this stay.

The kitchen was fully stocked even with a crockpot which helped us to not use the oven bc the air conditioner really couldn’t keep up on the 100 degree days. The “loft” was unusable since I was so hot so the couch was used. Luckily it was large enough and comfortable. The place was large enough but really needed some tlc as far as cleaning. Thick dust on the ceiling fans is an easy fix and shouldn’t have been overlooked by the cleaning people The return air vent was another easy fix but also had a thick layer of dust. We really could have used a vacuum but only had a broom that kept falling off its stick.

Great accommodations on awesome lake

Property is great! All essentials are provided…(kitchen, bath, linens, etc) Just bring swim towels. The lake is great! We swam, kayaked, rented a boat….. Pretty isolated, not much nearby…which is just fine for family bonding. The game room was a hit! Great trip!

Amazing!

The house was so cute. My girls loved the bunk beds and game room. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee pot, pots/pans, hand towels, silverware, etc. Loved going to the dock and fishing during the day. Was such a great place for a relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back!

LAKE BARKLEY 2023

Overall this is a great Rental and we will return or refer to friends. The home is roomy, well stocked and had all the amenities as described. We did not have internet service for most of our stay but fortunately this was not an issue for us. Beds were comfy and plenty of linens were available. We found the overall stay as excellent.

Our Favorite.

We travel for work and book a lot of VBROs. This property will be a repeat for future family trips. Anything you can imagine… the amenities were endless. Hot tub was hot, fire pit was ready to start, s’mores station was stocked and there were more than enough towels and dishes to take care of us and our adult children. It might seem like a lot of minor things but they did add up to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Exactly what the Doctor Ordered

We were exhausted from a very busy lady few months. We rested & enjoyed every moment. We traveled with our two beagles, who were right at home. Thank you! We wished that 1 shower was a walk in. It was extremely difficult to get in & out, but only 1 traveler was unable to use the shower
