The place was as advertised. Very nice little cottage with fire pits, grills with ample supplies and access to the lake with kayaks. 4 seats at the lake as shown in the photos.

Great cottage!

We went up for camp dropoff, and The Hideaway was the perfect family gathering place. It was clean and organized and the location was perfect. We definitely plan to visit again!

We came up from MA to this little cabin for 2 nights with the main purpose of dropping one kid at summer camp but having a little fun beforehand. It was a convenient location, the kids had fun in the lake, using the free kayaks was great, plenty of space for the 5 of us, Wifi/AC, towels, we never even turned on the TV because kids enjoyed playing on the putting green and hopping in the lake so much. It's close to Gunstock and Weirs Beach too where we had planned some activities. It was great for a quick trip!

Family Getaway at Alton Bay

Nice location close to Alton Bay. The Hideaway #10 was comfortable and well appointed. A bit more attention to the bedroom, kitchen and grill cleanliness would make it perfect.

Perfect July 4th get away

We were looking for a relaxing no frills get away. Views of the lake were perfect. Fire works right across the street. We spent every evening by the fire pit.

Wonderful Experience!

We had a great time staying at The Hideaway! We appreciated the thoughtfulness of everything on property (the coffee station and fire pit were our favorites). The hosts were very responsive to our questions before the trip and checked in throughout our stay. We rented a boat for a day and that was so easy! We will be staying here again!

We recently rented the 8 person cabin, and because we were mostly just sleeping there, it completely worked out! As a large family, we are use to more space, but this was more like glamping, and we were all satisfied with our stay. The cabin was close to all our planned destinations (Wiers beach, Meredith, Alton bay, & Wolfboro) which was super convenient. Communication with the owners was easy, and they responded to my emails within minutes.

The cabin was adorable and very up to date. Extremely spacious for a such a small footprint. 3 comfy bedrooms and a reasonably sized bathroom, though the shower was quite small. The unit had all the amenities we needed and was situated next to a cabin with additional bathroom facilities and a Keurig coffee station. The property was quiet despite it being bike week. A 10 minute walk across the bridge brought you to shops and restaurants on the water.
