About this property

The Hideaway, lake views & access sleeps 8 Now featuring AC Wi-FI and TV

This is the perfect house for your lake vacation this summer. The Hideaway Cabin features a living room, dining area, full kitchen, full bathroom, two bedrooms , a sleeping loft , and sofa bed.

We have a 24 hour Coffee Bar, Laundry, Ice and Vending Machine on site, next to our showers for you to enjoy FREE of charge.

Enjoy our several charcoal/gas grills, outdoor tables, fire pits and tables, on-site arcade, yard games including corn hole, and connect four while taking in the wonderful lake views.

Lake Access:
You can see the lake access from your cabin just a short walk past the arcade, towards the steps and you will see our Lake Access sign, This access has a sandy bottom. If you are wanting a more traditional sandy beach we are within walking distance to the Alton Town Beach
Vacanza NH has complementary bicycles and kayaks for our guests to use on a first come first serve basis. We are within walking distance to most of Alton Bay attractions including the town beach (sandy beach) restaurants, ice cream, and the marina.

This cabin is perfect for vacations, & enjoying the all the lakes region has to offer, rent multiple cabins for the perfect group getaway.

We do allow pets, but please review our pet policy to ensure our cabins are the right fit.


Pet Policy: We must be notified in advance that you will be bringing a pet(s), and weight of your pet(s).

-Pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest.

-All guests will be charged a one-time flat fee of $40.00 per pet per day or a flat $200 fee for weekly stays.

-Guest agrees to clean up animal waste of the pet(s) and agrees to accept full responsibility and liability for any damage, injury, or actions arising from or caused by pet(s).

-All pets must be in crates if left unattended, and cannot cause any disturbance, to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced .

-Pet(s) cannot be left alone for more than 3 hours. They cannot be tied up outside unattended, and must be on a leash when outside.

Perfect July 4th get away

We were looking for a relaxing no frills get away. Views of the lake were perfect. Fire works right across the street. We spent every evening by the fire pit.

Nice location close to Alton Bay. The Hideaway #10 was comfortable and well appointed. A bit more attention to the bedroom, kitchen and grill cleanliness would make it perfect.

We had a great time staying at The Hideaway! We appreciated the thoughtfulness of everything on property (the coffee station and fire pit were our favorites). The hosts were very responsive to our questions before the trip and checked in throughout our stay. We rented a boat for a day and that was so easy! We will be staying here again!

We recently rented the 8 person cabin, and because we were mostly just sleeping there, it completely worked out! As a large family, we are use to more space, but this was more like glamping, and we were all satisfied with our stay. The cabin was close to all our planned destinations (Wiers beach, Meredith, Alton bay, & Wolfboro) which was super convenient. Communication with the owners was easy, and they responded to my emails within minutes.
