Great property. Beautiful views of Lake Galena from the deck. Very clean, lots of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy. Great amenities including a hottub, ppol table, ping pong table and more. Would definitely go back.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of room for everyone to gather whether it was for family game night, enjoying meals together, or making smores at the fire pit. Fully stocked kitchen was greatly appreciated. Our group especially enjoyed the pool table and the chalkboard wall for pictionary. It was a quick drive for all of the activities the Galena area has to offer. There was easy access to the owners club pool and marina for boat rentals. We would absolutely choose this location again.

We LOVED our stay at this home. The house is filled with natural light and is warm and inviting. Plenty of room to spread out if your with a group. It was immaculately clean. We are planning our next trip back!

This is a large, very comfortable home. We enjoyed the clean hot tub! Views from the deck of Lake Galena are breathtaking. Kitchen was exceptionally well stocked! We look forward to a return visit!

Kitchen was fully stocked, everything a group would need. The house was clean and rooms were spacious. It is the perfect space for a large group reunion like we had. Large hot tub was the clincher for us to book here.

Amazing Location for Golf trip

We had a group of 11 stay for three nights and golf in the area. The property is clean and incredibly spacious for a group that size. The host is incredibly responsive - highly recommend the property for a nice weekend in Galena

The house is amazing! Plenty space for our family! It was nice to have little gathering areas (downstairs living area, upstairs loft) that our older kids could hang out.Dan is a great host, super responsive and super helpful!

QUICK Spring break spot near Chicago land

Vacation home has everything you need to have a good fun time with friends and family. Location is great and house is well maintained. Owner was very helpful and nice. Highly recommend for fun stay in galena.

Weekend at the Territory

What a lovely home! Plenty of room for the 10 of us and the view was fantastic. Dan was easy to reach and provided everything you would need. Would definitely stay here again.

It was amazing there. Loved everything about the house. Fantastic host. There was enough room everywhere for our family. Loved cooking in the large kitchen. I just can’t say enough about house and how it just completed our vacation. Went skiing and shopping downtown Galena. We will try to do something like this more often

Wonderful ladies weekend!!

Seven of us celebrated our 100th book in our book club and stayed at this beautiful property. Everything was clean and stocked. Owner very responsive. It was absolutely perfect!!!

The house met our needs as a family of 11. We had ample space for bedrooms and bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. Spacious kitchen for cooking and eating. The kids enjoyed the game room, especially the giant chalkboard. The host was very responsive to our concerns when the property wasn’t 100% rental-ready. The grill and hot tub hadn’t been cleaned, so we missed out on 2 nights of hot tub use. DISH TV didn’t work. Hopefully all of those things will be taken care of for the next big group.

Thanks Laurie. This was unfortunately the perfect storm that we have fully addressed, and addressed every item that these guests raised as quickly as we possibly could. The grill was missed by the cleaner, but she came back to address it in less than an hour after the guests had raised it. The hot tub was a scheduling issue which we had addressed the morning after check in, but the guests did not want to use the hot tub that evening. The satellite dish was a combination of it having a tough time with a signal, which happens from time to time in rural areas, and operator error. We tried working through it with the guests while they were there, which would have required them helping troubleshoot, but they preferred to wait until after they left and had a technician handle it instead. This is certainly not the experience we want any of our guests to have, and as is hopefully clear from this being our first review which wasn’t a 5 star, that it was a one off. We take a lot of pride in our house being the perfect oasis for a memorable getaway.

I booked this house for trip with girlfriends and it worked out perfectly! The house is perfect for a big group of friends or family. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen has everything anyone could need. We really enjoyed hanging out in the living room, the view of the river is beautiful. We also loved the hot tub! The owner was very communicative and provided suggestions for local restaurants. We are excited to make this an annual event and look forward to renting this house again!

Our family of 12 thoroughly enjoyed 3 lovely evenings at the property. We had tons of room to spread out. Great hot tub, ping pong and pool table were enjoyed by all. Well stocked kitchen, large kitchen table and multiple large spaces to relax and watch tv at the end of our shopping days. Extremely comfortable beds and bedding in each bedroom. We've been renting in Galena for near 20 years now and this was voted as one of the best by our family!
