Welcome to your ultimate retreat! This cozy oceanview unit is one half of a newly remodeled duplex located on Shelter Cove Golf Course, right by the airport runway with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. Watch planes take off, enjoy stunning sunsets from the front porch, and take a short walk to the beach. Perfect for couples, families, or friends looking to relax, explore, and soak up the coastal charm of Shelter Cove.
This private 2-story, 1100 sq ft unit features its own entrance and a deck overlooking the golf course, runway, and ocean. The main level includes an open living space with a sitting/TV area, dining area, half bath, and a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances. Upstairs has two bedrooms (one king, one with a queen and twin beds) and a full bath with shower – ideal for families, friends, or two couples (sleeps 4–5). Each bedroom has a Roku TV for your favorite shows. In the garage, you’ll find a washer and dryer, a set of golf clubs, and 4 bikes to explore the charming coastal town. The golf course is just steps away if you’re ready to play! Extra freezer is available in the garage to stock up on your daily catch of fish. Whether you're here to unwind or adventure, this comfortable coastal duplex has everything you need for a memorable stay.
Shelter Cove is one of the most peaceful, secluded spots on the Northern California coast. It may take some effort to get here, but it’s absolutely worth it. Please note: there’s no public transit or ride-share service in town, but everything is within easy walking or biking distance. Nearby amenities include: Gyppo Brewery and Restaurant is right down the street (4 min walk), Shelter Cove RV Campground store and Deli (0.25 mile), Shelter Cove General Store (2.3 mile), Delgada Pizza and Bakery (4 min drive, 18-minute walk), Venezuelan Restaurant (4 min drive, 17 min walk). Scenic nearby destinations include Cape Mendocino Lighthouse (5-minute walk), Black Sands beach (5 min drive, 20-minute walk).
Feel like driving a little further and seeing more of Humboldt County? Avenue of the Giants is a historic drive along the world-famous Redwood trees, some of which over 1000 years old. You can also drive through a Redwood Tree at the Myers Flat drive-thru tree. Visit the historic Benbow Inn for a fancy dinner just about one hour from Shelter Cove.

I am a private pilot. I flew into Shelter Cove a few years ago and was absolutely captivated by this place. My dream has always been to have a house on the ocean where I can just fly in and finally the dream came true. I would like other people to discover this beautiful place on the Lost Coast and enjoy it as much as I do.

This centrally located property makes any restaurant or a gallery a walking distance. Beach is just a short stroll away. House is well equipped and you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay.
