Beautiful and close to Sierra-at-Tahoe and Lover's Leap
Had a wonderful visit to this house with 2 families of 4. Hot tub was clean and hot. Kitchen well-stocked with cooking gear and condiments and a great grill. Love the location!
We had a great stay in Strawberry. The house is well appointed and comfortably fit our family of 6. The hot tub was an added bonus. Megan was really responsive. Highly recommend this property and we hope to stay there again.
The check-in process was incredibly easy. Our family fit well in the house as there were three bedrooms, one on each floor, and the upstairs one had two beds. We ran into one problem during our stay and it was quickly solved. I would be willing to return to this property.

I’m happy to hear the space fit your group perfectly! I’m glad we were able to resolve the low laundry detergent issue quickly and before it was out🧺
Really enjoyed our stay. House is out of the congestion in a quiet neighborhood. Easy house to live in with plenty of room. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you’d need. Owners were great, very responsive to questions and offering suggestions. Everyone enjoyed our stay.
Had a great time staying at the cabin. Plenty of space to spread out. Kids had their own area upstairs and the fireplace and hot tub were awesome. Only a few minutes drive to Sierra at Tahoe. Plenty of snow for sledding and building forts with the kids.
We had the best time at this gorgeous family cabin. The property has a rustic vibe with modern amenities. The river was a game changer while hanging out in the hot tub or on the porch. The nearby store is very cool. We definitely want to return soon.
The manager, Megan, was super responsive and helped us with a few hurdles we ran into (not related to issues with the property). She was wonderful and super communicative!
Would definitely recommend this property, especially families. We kept talking how we would love to be able to buy a cabin in Tahoe JUST like this one. Super spacious and super cozy.
My husband, two adult sons and I had a memorable reunion at Megan’s cabin by the river. World class hiking within minutes, fishing and relaxing in the gorgeous peaceful setting next to the river was exactly what we hoped for. The fully appointed kitchen and smoker grill allowed for meals at home so we were able to maximize our time together. Thank you so much for hosting us at your wonderful alpine home!😀
Thank you. Cozy and confortable. The windows will need to be replaced soon. ;)
Thank you

I’m so happy to hear you guys enjoyed yourself! This winter has been one for the record book and is taking a toll on some things. We do have a couple of windows that the seal is wearing down on, it’s on our spring fix it list 🔨
My son and I stayed 4-nights during the high school state ski championships. Three of the days we had to drive to Sierra-at-Tahoe, there were chain controls. I can't tell you how easy it was to commute from Strawberry instead of South Lake Tahoe, where most families stayed. The cabin was very cozy. Loved the decor - exactly what I would have done in a mountain cabin! The beds were comfortable, and the view was sublime. The kitchen had everything we needed.
Quick weekend trip to ski with our grandsons (8yr&6yrs). Overall home worked well for the five of us - could accommodate even more guests.
Megan our host was outstanding in communicating throughout - Sierra at Tahoe is a perfect family ski mtn with a lot kids from beginner to young racers. Thanks for the memories!
The layout of the house with a large sectional and open design along with its wrap around deck and proximity to the river make this a standout property.
The hosts are gracious and the neighborhood is exceptionally quiet. The kitchen was well appointed and appliances were in good working order. We enjoyed using the Traeger grill on the deck outside. Everything was very clean, too.
What's amazing to us is this little pocket of a community escaped damage in the recent fires that raged through the Sierras. From the looks of things, the fire came frighteningly close.
We look forward to coming back and listening to the river from the comfort of the couch.
