Delightful, unique space!

The house was built with attention to natural craftsmanship, detail, and quality. It is a unique space with dedicated outdoor space that's sure to make for a memorable trip. Read through the guest reviews to see how people describe this as one of the most interesting and beautiful Airbnbs they have ever stayed in!

Enjoy the full kitchen with gas range, full stove, cooking utensils and spices, coffee, tea, etc., as well as microwave and hot water kettle. We also provide coffee, tea, olive oil, salt and pepper so that you’re ready to stay in, cook a made from scratch meal, and enjoy a leisurely and refreshing morning!

The large bathroom features beautiful woodwork and a clawfoot tub (and self-serve laundry).

Unwind after a day's work or play at the private outdoor fire pit with a nice glass of wine or hot cup of tea. Use the charcoal grill to cook outside when the weather is nice! In the summer time, help yourself to the overhead grapes or the figs growing just outside your patio door.

There are two bedrooms, both with queen beds. One bedroom is very spacious, the other is smaller with a ladder leading to a loft bed. (The lofted bedroom has low ceilings, so better for smaller or more adventurous adults!) It’s worth noting that sound carries within the house — the space is best suited for a family or good friends.

The living room with large picture window is very comfortable and includes a pullout sofa. The TV is connected to Roku with Hulu, Netflix, etc. for all your entertainment needs. We also have a small bluetooth speaker to listen to music.

The house is located on an acre of permaculture heaven. It has one other rental house on the property but feels very secluded and private. Feel free to roam the property, and pick the berries, figs, apples, grapes, chestnuts, etc. when in season!

Consider this the perfect place to relax on a quiet mountain retreat while exploring all that Asheville has to offer.

For those working from home, we have a dedicated desk in separate space and fast wifi — 440/20 mbps.

The house is a contained private unit with its own outside area.

You'll have the whole house and patio all to yourself.

This is a residential and quiet neighborhood. You’ll need a car or to take Uber and Lyft to get around town. Places of interest:

Beautiful, quiet, original
Very clean, nicely decorated and original house. It was a nice break to stay there after a day of travel. We felt very comfortable and cozy. Neighborhood is quiet and relatively close to downtown.

Pleasantly surprised
My husband and I had a quick stay with our infant daughter and my sister to babysit for a concert at Salvage Station. We were pleasantly surprised at the property’s character, space and comfort. The location was convenient and quiet except for one neighbor who had target practice in the early evening. The house had some really fun and quirky features such as a pass through between two lofts and a peekaboo window. Kids would love to stay here! We would stay again!

Snowy weekend
The place was clean and convenient to Asheville but the neighborhood not so great and no privacy. The space was enough for 3 friends for a long weekend BUT the lay out could be SO much better!!!! There is room for more beds downstairs (no need for such a huge/odd bathroom and Reading nook ? No dishwasher, shower/tub was a little dangerous with no handles etc and since we were there during snow the walk to our car was a steep dangerous sheet of ICE .. the loft is only big enough for a mattress on the floor so don’t plan to stand up and be prepared to climb a ladder to get there … we were all over 55 so may be better suited for a young small family .. the host was very easy to reach.

Awesome bohemian getaway
This place was just as described -only perhaps a bit cuter. We loved the layout, the kitchen was well equipped (thanks for the coffee!), the couches were great for sprawling out with family or napping, and I slept better that I have for months on the firm but comfy mattress. My daughter loved the cute sleeping loft with the window that looked out on the living room. If I were to need a retreat for writing the great American novel, this would be one of my top picks. The lovely old free standing tub (with shower) might be a challenge for older family members, but we enjoyed it (as well as the washer/dryer). In all a great stay
