The property is within walking distance of downtown and bathhouse row. It looked exactly like the pictures minus the flag decor outside. Loved that they had pamphlets and dining recs and artwork of the bathhouses hung around the place. The check in and checkout process was easy as well. It was a great place to stay if you have a big group. Kitchen was big with lots of appliances and fully stocked seasoning cabinet. There’s a washer and dryer. They had towels, makeup towels, and bath robes too

Overall the stay was nice and it was a nice location, we did find certain spots in the house not tidy but we overlooked that until the host tried to charge us an additional cleaning fee after we did everything that was asked of us on our check out list so be careful!

Guests did not notify of any untidiness in house until after the fact that my cleaning crew found the house in disarray after they left. We pride ourselves as owners of our small business to make sure our guests are happy and comfortable with their stay. We go above and beyond to provide extra amenities to all of our guests. Framed local art was broken and left on side table. As well as being extra dirty when cleaning crew arrived to clean after their stay. We have never had any negative feedback with our cleaning crew upon guest arrival. We simply ask to treat our home as your home while you stay in our Sweet Retreat.

Very convenient location. We walked to West Mountain hiking trails, Bathhouse Row,, the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail and several restaurants (Our favorite was Cafe Kahlo). Oaklawn Racetrack was a 5 minute drive. The street the house is on is a quiet one-way residential street, but near a busy intersection that was a little loud at night. The white noise app on our tablet drowned out the noise though.All in all, we had a very comfortable stay.

The location, amenities, and home were perfect! Just minutes from downtown and Oaklawn, we were so close to everything but still far enough away that we didn’t have the hustle and bustle. Cannot recommend enough!

Was a great weekend at the races! Everything was wonderful except the loud street right next to the house. They provided ear plugs but the street and the church bells every hour I could’ve done without. The house was really cute and well maintained. Very comfortable for our weekend.
