GUEST ACCESS As the condo is in a secure building, guests will require a security fob to enter the building and will be assigned an access code to enter the unit.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE Shortly before you arrive, you'll be given a code to access the unit for the duration of your stay. A Lock box is located next to the resident manager's office in the basement where you will find a key fob for the building. Additional fobs are available upon request.
The parking stall is located in the far-left corner of the lower level. It’s marked LP. DO NOT PARK IN EMPTY STALLS OR YOU WILL BE TOWED. As the space is a bit tight, minivans (sliding doors) or smaller cars are recommended.
MISCELLANEOUS: The phone in the unit can be used to make calls to the mainland and Canada as well as admit guests into the building from the callbox outside the lobby. Mauka Makai is located in the resort zone area of Waikīkī, which allows short-term vacation rentals. State and county taxes are 13.25% TAT (Transient accommodation tax) and 4.71% GET (General excise tax).

Good price for a Waikīkī condo! We really enjoyed the use of the beach chairs and boogie boards. (A lot of snorkel gear and other beach toys were available which we didn’t use). The building is very secure but there is only one key fob that allows you access to the building so if you have multiple people in your party that want to do different things that makes it difficult.
Truly enjoyed our stay here. Spacious with great amenities. Love how conveniently close we were to the beach and shopping center. Looking forward to booking this condo again next year!
Right next to an ABC store. Many restaurants nearby. Parking spaces very tight and difficult to maneuver. Short walk to the beach and night life. Older elevator that quit working for a night.
The place was great! Everything was walking distance to Waikiki. The beach is very close by. Had a great time and my family and friends enjoyed their time in Hawaii. Highly recommend this place!
The condo was exactly as described. Clean and well equipped. Location was really convenient to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Honolulu!
The condo was above and beyond my expectations. We enjoyed the balcony and the comfortable furniture. We were just a block and a half from the beach with shopping and restaurants all around. It was a secure and quiet property and the included parking space was a big benefit. Would definitely stay here again

Everything we needed in the kitchen / water toys / towels etc. Clean and very nicely decorated. Great location. We had a wonderful stay. Suggestion? Small safe to store passports, etc.
This was a terrific property! Everything was clean, the climate control kept us happy, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nice. We really enjoyed sitting on the lanai to drink our morning coffee. The local abc convenience store was great to have, and I can't tell you how lucky we were to have a parking space in that neighborhood! We were sad to leave.
It was a very clean spacious property. It is pretty well placed in Waikiki. Everything we wanted to do was easily within walking or Lyft distance. Love that the ABC store is literally next door, steps away!Couple of things to be aware of though.1. Because it is in a busy area, there may be some loud folks outside around nighttime. There was only really one night of that, but if you are a light sleeper, might want to bring earplugs.2. There's only one FOB to get into the towers and to ise the elevator. If travellings with a big family, plan accordingly so no one gets locked out late at night.Other than that, good pick to stay!
Overall this unit is just fantastic! It has a washer and dryer which was essential during the trip :) The location is ideal and management did a great job responding quickly to a few concerns we had. Also - parking included - albeit the space is a little tight.
Only downsides to this unit (for transparency) is that it’s located on a lower floor and occasionally got a little noisy and the hot water seemed to run out quickly. We were a group of 4 adults so that made things a little tricky when getting ready.

The location of this property was great! It was less than a 5 minute walk from the beach and close to lots of food and shopping choices. Because of the location and the night life, it tends to be noisy until late at night but wasn't a major issue. The only other downside was the parking space was a tight squeeze. Once I figured out that it was easier to enter the garage, turn left towards the rinsing area then back into the space, it made parking much easier. My family appreciated all the beach and snorkeling gear that was provided with the property. We ended up requesting a 2nd key fob that allowed us entry into the building and elevator so we could split our group up easier. Mark was happy to assist us! Thanks for making our stay easy and fun!!
Location was great to visit Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head and Pearl Harbor. All kitchen and beach amenities were provided. Parking is provided, but don't stay here if you have a larger SUV. We had a Tahoe and could barely get out the driver's door if someone was parked next to us - typical large city parking. We were awakened at 4:00 am both mornings by loud noises from the residents on the shared wall side of the condo. This went on until after 6:30am. We contacted the host the first morning. They apologized for things out of their control and said the building manager was contacted. We didn't stay the third night.
Excellent location of property. Everything pretty handy. Parking tight so need to be a decent driver to park. Kitchen fully stocked with appliances and showers great!
