If you love coffee, hate people, and refuse to cook on vacation, Hickory Lodge is your Mecca. Having a Keurig in our room was great! We came prepared with our pods. We chilled on the balcony drinking said coffee which saved us from facing the general public in the lobby pre-caffeine. The room was aggressively clean, and the kitchen came with a full fridge, microwave, toaster, and a stove that served as a lovely decorative piece since we didn't cook once.The bathroom was great, but the real winner was the private stairway to the river. It let us bypass the crowded public path and go full hermit on the river rocks with our snacks. To top it off, the location is dangerously convenient—you can basically roll out of bed and into a dozen different restaurants, or walk down to the other part of town if you want to pretend you're getting some cardio. Drew was a great communicator and host. I will hopefully be booking here again in the future.

Clean room, host communication was perfect. Everyone was so kind in the area, the pool was open most of the day and it was quiet, not too many people. It was a beautiful spot with great views and nearby attractions that I was able to enjoy. I will definitely be back again soon!
