A quaint cottage with a lovely yard and deck, on a quiet street a couple blocks from a small beach. A few minutes' drive to Jamestown village with shops and restaurants. A few more minutes across the bridge to all the excitement of Newport, or a few minutes over the other bridge to Narragansett and the beaches of south Rhode Island.

We're dog-friendly and love hosting families! To help us prep the cottage just right for your stay, please make sure everyone joining — kids and pets included — is listed on your reservation.

Great stay

Quite and beautiful neighborhood, very responsive nice hosts. House was clean, and had all we needed for our small family. The rocky beach down the road was a great place to catch the sunsets!

There was barely room for someone to get around with a walker. The bed should be closer to the window. There was not enough room for charging phones, watches, etc

Thank you for your feedback. Had we known an elderly guest with mobility needs was joining, we would have gladly modified anything about the house to help — moved the bed, set up the ramp we keep on hand for the one small step near the kitchen, whatever was needed. This cottage was actually designed to be ambulatory-friendly for older guests, almost entirely on one level, because I built it originally for my own 89-year-old mother, since passed. We'd welcome the chance to do the same for you next time — just let us know ahead of stay.

Very pleasant cottage

We had an enjoyable time here—the cottage is comfortable and well-equipped. The hosts were very responsive. Nice to be able to walk to a little beach!

Outdoor Adventure

Greg was attentive to details and cared about our vacation by offering restaurant, beach and ice cream shop ideas. Cozy place that has all kitchen amenities and then some for those who want to cook a few meals while on vacation. Wish we could have stayed longer!

August 2023 stay

Nice little house in a quiet neighborhood. Very well equipped kitchen and a comfortable outside patio. Could use new mattresses and small windows on upper walls in bedrooms need curtain or shades to keep light out. Convenient location.

Wonderful Cottage

We were a group of 5 with ages 18 months to 70 and there was plenty of space. Communication with Greg and Gina was alway quick and easy. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed including infant supplies, a pack and play and a high chair. Greg lives nearby so if there are any concerns he’s available quickly. The neighborhood is lovely and easy walking to the beach. Our dog loved going on walks to check out all the bunnies and deer. Over all we had an amazing time and would recommend this rental to anyone traveling to the Jamestown area.
