About this property

Solar Powered & Centrally Located Waterbury Home

This bright, warm solar powered VT home has tons of charm. It's centrally located, nestled in between Waterbury and Stowe, and close to ski mountains, local restaurants, and other popular attractions like Ben and Jerry's, the Alchemist Brewery, and Hunger Mountain. This makes it the perfect 4-season base for your ski trip in the winter, or for your summer hiking/biking adventures.

The space
*With two desk spaces and good WiFi, this home is perfect for working or schooling remotely!*

In the winter, there is an entryway where you can drop your ski/snowboard gear. You'll then walk into the warm, inviting kitchen/living room area. With tons of natural light and a view of the Worcester Mountains, you can curl up in the sun on the couch in the living room or sip your morning coffee at the breakfast bar.

There are two bathrooms in the home - a full bathroom off the hallway with a shower/tub, and a full bath attached to the master suite with a stand-up shower.

Bedroom 1 has a full-size bed and a crib. Bedroom 2, the master, is equipped with a king bed and its own en-suite full bath. There is a small desk in this room.

There is also a TV Room/Office/Den with a large TV, games, a chair, a comfy play couch, and an adjustable sit/stand desk.

In the summer, you are welcome to explore the back and front yards, which boast two separate patio sets, lawn games, and a few hammocks.

Guest access
There is parking in the driveway. This area is not very walkable, and there is little to no public transit. A car is recommended.

Other things to note
We have a crib and welcome children/infants as long as you understand the home is not fully baby-proofed for kiddos. If you would like childrens' toys/books, please request these.

About the host

Host profile image
My husband and I have used AirBnB for many years throughout our travels. We've lived in Vermont on and off for about 10 years, and have owned our home in Waterbury for 3 years. Kyler and I know what it is like to travel through AirBnB and feel we have set up a home that we would want to stay in if traveling.

We both love to travel, hike, cross country and downhill ski, and eat good food!

Why they chose this property

We love Waterbury! It's centrally located (close to Burlington and all of the outdoor adventures) and such a warm, inviting community.
