3BR Newly Renovated House in the heart of Sturgeon Bay
Newly renovated 3 BR, 1700 sf 4-square home in the heart of Sturgeon Bay. Just a few blocks from 3rd Avenue shops and restaurants. Beautiful new kitchen, bathrooms, addition and deck. The space We finished renovating this gem in 2018. It's immaculately decorated and has all of the amenities. We fell in love with this town and you will too - the live music, the food, the art and antiques, and of course the water! Just minutes from lake Michigan, northern Door County and more! Guest access We have 2 bikes you can use - not great but they work for cruising around town. Gas grill, fire pit with several folding chairs. Beanbag toss too. Other things to note; All 3 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. The Door County Tourism Commission charges a 8% lodging tax which is already added to the daily rate for this property. Dogs are welcome but require a $20 per day fee (two for $30) pay during your visit.

We loved staying in this gorgeous and comfortable property! Excellent location, so close to shops, restaurants, coffee houses, etc. Gracious, accommodating hosts. We would definitely recommend!
We really enjoyed the property and the level of hospitality the hosts provided. The house is so cozy and had everything we could have needed and more. It also is in such a perfect location for us - very quick access to a park, coffee shop, and 3rd Ave. We will definitely book with them again.
We loved everything about this house. It's decorated so cute and it was very clean. It gave us a very homey feeling. We would definitely stay there again.
This is a great property - good location, spacious house, and thoughtful hosts provided many of the extras that make for a great stay. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to friends.
Loved it!
The charm of this home with local art & eclectic touches immersed us in the Sturgeon Bay experience even more. We walked to town, enjoyed the nearby eats & had a short distance by car to hiking & exploring. Loved it!
The house has everything to enjoy your time in Door County! Also, Bill is a very great help, He answered all our questions. Peaceful vacation and great location. Thank you!!
Our stay at 421 N 7th Place was all we expected and more. It was a great location for exploring the Door County Peninsula and all the local venues. This was such a warm and welcoming home and so beautifully decorated we absolutely loved it! The kitchen and baths were so well stocked we didn’t have to worry about running out of the necessities. Our hosts were very accommodating and answered questions immediately. They made us feel like old friends and the caretaker was friendly and helpful too. This is definitely a place we will come back to!!
We live full time in the Madison WI area. Phil’s a musician and retired high school art teacher, and renovation contractor. Judy is an RN who also recently retired! We have three grown sons.
Why they chose this property
In June of 2017 we visited Sturgeon Bay for the “Steel Bridge Song Fest”. Our son Sam is a musician and was one of the writer/performers. We rented an AirBnb house on 4th Ave., and over a long weekend, fell in love with Sturgeon Bay. Less than 5 weeks later we closed on this house on 7th Place. The house needed plenty of work, including raising some of the foundation, tearing off a leaky back porch, building an addition and deck in it’s place, converting the smallest bedroom upstairs into a bathroom, gutting the kitchen, new insulation and siding . . . and more. We did most of the work ourselves along with our friends Jon and Rob. The renovations took a full year to complete, but we couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out. We love it up here and know you will too!
What makes this property unique
Sturgeon Bay has SO much going on including a vibrant art and music scene. It's also a great launching point for activities in the rest of Door County just north of us!
