Guest Access:
Cozy Coop is one of two private units within a single-family home. Each unit has its own separate entrance and living space, offering guests privacy and comfort. Cozy Coop guests may use the tandem parking spaces on the left side of the driveway and will enjoy a private keypad entrance located on the left side of the house.

The unit features a newly renovated master bedroom, bathroom, family room and kitchenette. Off the master bedroom, you’ll find a private porch overlooking a beautiful shade garden—perfect for relaxing.

Both units share access to the backyard common area, which includes a pool, lawn, fire pit, chicken coop, and a backyard shed stocked with pool and beach equipment. A shared laundry room is also available; it is located behind a locked door and does not provide access to the other unit.

Your hosts, Rob and Cindy, live in the neighboring unit known as Over Easy, and are nearby if you need anything during your stay.

Inside:
Inside, you’ll find a large bedroom featuring a king bed, TV, dresser, and direct access to a spacious remodeled bathroom on one side and a beautiful back porch on the other. The cozy family room includes a couch and TV. Enjoy your favorite meals, prepare your morning coffee or get work done at the convenient counter space.

Step outside to relax on the private back yard porch shaded by a majestic magnolia tree. Enjoy the sectional sofa, hammock swing, and outdoor TV for ultimate lounging.

Take a stroll down your private garden path to the shared backyard oasis featuring a refreshing pool with jacuzzi, fire pit, lawn, chicken coop, and shed stocked with beach and pool gear. Guests have access to the shared laundry room and free tandem parking for up to two vehicles in the driveway just steps from their front door.

Interaction with guests:
I like to follow the guests' lead. Some guests like to enjoy a private stay with a casual wave while others like to chat about things to do in the area. We are here for the guest experience.

Lucy and Lola are our friendly and easily excitable cockapoos. Our fluffy friends have full access to the backyard and do not know boundaries as well as their mom and dad. They are not in the yard very often and only when we are with them. If guests are uncomfortable with dogs please let us know. We are more than happy to keep the dogs out of the backyard during your stay. Please just ask. It is not a problem for us at all.

Additional Guests
This unit is advertised for two guests but can comfortably accommodate up to four adults with the addition of a queen Murphy bed in the family room.

There is no charge for infants under one year old who are not yet walking. For any additional guests over one year old, there is a fee of $25 per guest, per night.

Dogs
Lucy and Lola are our friendly (and very enthusiastic) cockapoos. They have full access to the backyard and love being outside. If you’re uncomfortable around dogs, just let us know—we’re happy to keep them out of the backyard during your stay.

Chickens
The Hen House is located at the back of the property. Our chickens spend most of their time in the coop since there are many predators in the area, but they enjoy visitors. Feel free to stop by the coop and help yourself to a few fresh eggs! The eggs do not need to be refrigerated, so please take what you need and leave the rest for other guests to enjoy.

Children
We’re happy to accommodate families traveling with little ones. A crib, stroller, and high chair are available upon request. Please bring your own child-sized life jackets or flotation devices for the pool.

Pool Safety
We do not allow diving or jumping into the pool. It has a 6 inch sitting area and jacuzzi on one end. The depth is 3.5 feet in the shallow end and goes to 5.5 feet deep. We have a gate leading to the driveway entrance and alarms on the door and window leading from the master bedroom to the backyard. We also have a gate on the back porch to keep kids from wandering to the pool and to keep our furry friends off your porch.

Pool temperature.
In the summer, the pool is chilled to a refreshing 85 degrees for comfortable swimming. During the winter months, the pool is not heated, but it's available if you'd like a brisk cold plunge.

The Jacuzzi can be heated to 100°F and is available for use until 10 PM. Instructions for heating the Jacuzzi are provided inside the unit.

During the summer, the pool is chilled to a refreshing 85°F. In winter, the pool is available for a cold plunge, and the jacuzzi can be heated to the standard 100°F when requested.

Heating & Air Conditioning
The family room has its own independent heating and cooling system, allowing you to set the temperature to your preference. The bedroom and bathroom are connected to the home’s main heating and air conditioning system.
