Nestled on over three heavily wooded acres on a quiet street above the San Juan River, this contemporary home is the perfect escape from the busy world. It feels secluded on property with an abundance of wildlife, yet is only ten minutes to downtown, the hot springs, Echo Canyon Reservoir, and multiple National Forest entrances. Wolf Creek Ski Resort is just 30 minutes away! Designed in Austin, TX and recently completed in 2022, this single story home with no steps features three bedrooms with king sized beds plus a study and two full baths. High ceilings and eight foot tall windows create ample natural light and make nature the primary focus. There are dramatic nightly sunsets and peak-a-boo views of downtown, the San Juan River and mountain range beyond.

An open floor plan and Chef's kitchen with modern cabinetry, a custom granite "waterfall" island counter, stainless commercial gas range and multiple pans, spices, and cooking accessories make entertaining a breeze. The master bedroom is separated from the guest rooms and has a view worthy of staying in bed all day. The master bath features a custom vanity with dual sinks, backlit mirror, a separate toilet room, and massive walk-in shower.

Other features of the home include: wifi, keyless entry, custom accent walls, original artwork, hand built artisan lighting, separate laundry and mudrooms, new furniture and accessories throughout, no carpeting, ceiling fans, covered balcony and patio, and a remote controlled gas fireplace.

Beautiful home. The heater auto shutting off in middle of night was not a plus, an the smoke detector or whatever alarm is in master room went off every night the whole trip and seemed to be just when everyone went to bed and go all night. Other than those two things everything was great.

Feels like home!

Great house, amazing beds, very clean. A few little things like no hot water for the first evening and full trash cans. Before check-in we got a little worried as we were copied on a mass text about check in instructions with other renters on the same feed. The host company took care of all the issues with 24 hours. Would love to stay again soon!

Peaceful and relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is close enough to town but far enough away to really relax and enjoy nature. The master bedroom, living and dining room have the most amazing forest views where we enjoyed the wild Turkey and deer that walked by. Waking up in the master bedroom was like waking up camping in the forest but without the tent! We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful home in the woods

What a beautiful home in the woods. They have everything you need. I was surprised they even have a pressure cooker. The house was clean. The communication with the manager and owner was on top. We had a problem with the water heater that was resolved immediately and we had hot water in no time. We really enjoyed our time in the property. Definitely recommend this place if you’re going to Pagosa Springs. I’ll definitely will look for this property again. Love the place.

This was one of the best rental properties I’ve ever stayed in. It was modern, extremely clean and very well equipped and accommodating. We say wildlife in the backyard every day and while it’s remote it’s still conveniently located to town. Lori the property manager was amazing from booking to checkout and beyond. We had a couple of minor issues but she responded quickly with resolution. You will love this property!

Great stay, but water problem

The property was very nice and overall our stay was good. One problem is that the neighborhood was affected by a water main issue that lasted for a day. However, it appears the issue happened once before as well. I understand the water supply is out of the property management's control and the manager did organize the ability for us to use another rental's bathroom. But I would have expected a credit or some refund offered for our trouble, especially given the cost of the rental.

We cleaned the ones we needed to use but I think there is still a skillet that has egg or something on it. While cooking our first meal I kept getting oil in the pot and thought it was coming from some part that might still be dirty until I realized the vent was dripping. The vent was so dirty grease was dripping on the stove and food in several spots. We cleaned all the vent filters and the vent as best we could and had no more issues. Quite a lot of grease/oil was inside the vent hood.
