Great location

Family and I stayed here for the 4th of July, loved the area. We enjoyed our stay. It is pretty loud if there are people staying in the upper unit but I had read that on the previous reviews so I was already expecting it, but it was a nice stay.

Great location!

Great location for getting to different ski resorts (or the shuttle stops). Very clean. Drew reached out several times to see if everything was okay, and was very responsive.

Overall, the stay was great. The location is perfect for mountain access without committing to any specific lodge. Docked one star because the pull out couch sheets were unclean. New sheets were provided once discussed with the host, but my friend did have an uncomfortable first night. Would still recommend or come back.

Good location for ski trip

Everything was smooth and easy. Finished basement so expect to hear creaking and people walking upstairs. Kitchen needs more plates, cups, bowls etc. full size fridge is nice… beds comfortable….good price but very basic place.

Great Neighborhood Walk-out Basement Apartment

This is a great location and cozy basement apartment. We had folks move in above us for the weekend, which wasn’t as private given the lack of curtains on the 2 bedrooms, and we could hear their footsteps above and their conversations pretty clearly. Otherwise, it was quite cozy and quiet.

Base Camp to ski the week in Cottonwood Heights

We had a great time Skiing Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, Park City, Powder, and Snowbasin during the week we stayed at the Shredder's Shanty. It was in a convenient location for the Ski Buses to the Cottonwoods ski areas, and close enough to the Ogden ski areas to be the perfect base camp for our trip. A full kitchen and nearby grocery stores helped us save money by eating in, but we also got good food eating at the nearby Cotton Bottom Inn and Lone Star Taqueria. The cab fare to downtown nightlife was inexpensive, and my friends had fun going out on the town at the Twist and the Green Pig. We also had a good time playing pool at the Hog Wallow. Getting here from the Airport was surprisingly inexpensive with a rideshare. The provided space heaters were indespensable to help us warm up and dry our gear after skiing all day. The shower was also very nice, the house was clean, and the beds were comfortable and warm. The host also sent messages with useful information throughout the week. Thanks for a great stay!
