About the host
Hosted by Teresa Hough
My husband and I have been in Maine for twenty years but only in New Gloucester for six. I have a love of horses, and he has a love for flying. We have four grown children and our first grandchild in 2024 (boy) our second grandson is on the way in July 2026. We have lots of four-legged babies which you will meet during your stay. We enjoy the outdoors and when not working our full-time jobs we will be doing what we love, riding and flying.
Why they chose this property
New Gloucester, Maine, is a charming and predominantly rural town that offers a quintessential New England experience. It's known for its picturesque landscapes of farms, woods, and fields, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere that feels a world away from the hustle and bustle.
What makes this property unique
What makes our VRBO studio truly unique is the immersive experience it offers, blending the tranquility of a vast working horse farm with immediate access to natural beauty.
Unlike typical rentals, you're not just near a farm; you're on a sprawling 77-acre working horse farm. This means daily exposure to the gentle rhythms of farm life, the sight of horses grazing, and the comforting presence of our friendly dogs and cats. It's a genuine taste of rural living, far removed from urban hustle.
This combination of genuine farm life, vast open space, animal presence, and convenient access to nature creates a distinct and memorable stay that you won't find just anywhere.
