About this property
Hasty House Studio
Please note the studio is located on the 2nd floor and there is NO ELEVATOR. Cute, fresh studio apartment - one room has a full size bed, tv and seating area; the other room contains a full kitchen with a small 2-person table with stool seating; and bath with shower all tucked above the carriage house of the historic 1850 Reynolds-Hasty colonial revival home. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping in Auburn and Lewiston, minutes from Bates College and Central Maine Healthcare. 30 - 40 minute drive to mountains, beaches, Portland or Augusta. Separate private entrance and parking. Urban environment with associated urban noise.

Two room private apartment - one room has a full size bed and seating area, the other room has a bath with shower and kitchen with dishwasher, 4-burner glass topped range/oven, refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, 4-cup coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishes, pots, pans. A small counter with stool seating is in this area and could be used for dining or working. Coffee, tea and a few snacks, basic cooking spices provided.

Guests have use of the entire space.

Studio is located on the 2nd floor. Driveway is for guests exclusive use, we live adjascent to the studio and are happy to provide local recommendations or loan any additonal items you may need to make your stay more comfortable.

Why they chose this property
The Hasty House Studio is a secluded respite in an urban neighborhood. Shopping, restaurants, libraries, laundromats, museums and great local walks all within a 5-10 block radius. Bates College and Central Maine Medical Center are minutes away. Wander the Auburn River Walk for a close look at the falls, or cross the Peace Bridge to enjoy the the many events in Simard-Payne Memorial Park including the Dempsey Challenge and Great Falls Balloon Fest.
