The property had a beautiful view of the lake and was conveniently located for attending both the Moxi Festival and the Great Maine Airshow. The beds were comfortable and all the appliances worked well. There were many outdoor attributes like the gas grill and kayaks that we didnt take advantage of. The cabin is rustic and smelled musty upon arrival but did air out overnight. The host was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

Wonderful location on the lake. So relaxing even for a short stay. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen (not that we used it), washer and drier if needed, and great view with unbeatable sunset. Just what we needed!!

Clean, lots of space, but the website neglects to mention that there are 44 stairs (and some are rickety) between where you park and the cottage. Also, the living room floor goes up and down, not just slanted, but up and down. too much. Cancelled the second night

Beautiful house right on the water! The house was very clean, well maintained and very welcoming. The stairs were a bit precarious, but were still safe. Definitely something to consider if you have trouble walking or have kids. We brought our two dogs and it was very doggy friendly! We loved our stay!

We enjoyed our stay and very much appreciated the heads up about the number of stairs up to the house. It was manageable. We enjoyed the fire pit out back as well. We weren’t comfortable using the gas grill so were happy there was a charcoal grill available. All in all a charming place.

Nice, clean and good location

Was only staying the weekend for a wedding. The cottage was nice, clean and perfect location, with the lake right across the street and kayaks available to use. Had good amenities to use, full kitchen and great shower! Jennifer was easy to communicate with and gave great instructions.

Was a perfect escape for our family. Sadly, the water was very low in the lake, but the owners had zero control over this. The sunsets were still amazing and we enjoyed our time in the space very much. Thank you so much for sharing this home with us. Hopefully, we will be able to book it again soon.

Great summer spot!

The lake was enjoyable. If older, please note there are many steep stairs that you need to climb and carry luggage, groceries, etc.up. It could be a challenge for some.

Nice spot near the highway exit.

Went ice fishing for the weekend . Wanted a spot near the water where we could unpack from the car. Everything was great. Dock made it easy to get to the water. Would come back again.

The dock looked new and the pond was beautiful. I loved sitting and painting at the window. The kitchen was well stocked. This isn’t a criticism of the place but just a fact: it’s not a lake house. It’s a camp. If my grandfather left me this camp I’d be thrilled and wouldn’t change a thing. If I spend 200/night on a lake house and came here, I’d be disappointed. A lot of people complain about the stairs. Yes there are a lot of stairs, but not for a camp. What’s really disconcerting is that the stairs are rickety and the only effort to repair them is to put neon pink tape on them. The directions to the key were somewhat confusing at the end of a long travel day, but I won’t give all that away. The fenced in yard did not look like a pleasant place to be. I loved the sloping floors because by the time we got inside I was in camp mode and I’m a glass is half full person. The part that killed me, that was just too much was the bedroom mattress. It wasn’t a mattress. It was a very thick foam pad, maybe eight inches thick?I’m all about embracing the adventure and we did for our weekend. However, I believe these ratings are inflated (which I know affected my decision to book).

Lovely Lake House

We enjoyed our weekend stay very much. Great location and beautiful view right over the pond. Big dock that was easy to use for using kayaks. Lots of towels provided and kitchen was clean with all the appliances and utensils we needed. Downtown Brunswick was a great afternoon excursion. The attic space is accessed via a ladder through the ceiling, not full stairs. It took us a bit by surprise, and were glad we didn't need the beds up there.

Nice place at a great price. Might stay again.

House was as described and had everything needed for a weekend visit. Practically on the water, central to many things, and not far from the interstate. Would consider staying longer next summer. The long stairway from the road to the house needs maintenance (uneven planks, screws exposed). Parking for a large SUV and a pick 'em up was tight but doable. Dock on the lake was nice, but we didn't have time to enjoy it. Didn't do any cooking there or use the backyard, firepit, or grill. Upstairs loft/bedroom well-suited to young, nimble people.
