Well maintained property! Host provided lots of amenities such as games, cooking supplies and seasonings, coffee and tea with cream and sugar, and a fenced backyard that was nice for the dog. Spacious living area and kitchen along with additional space upstairs
Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our time in Maine this year! The house was a perfect fit for us! Everything was extremely clean, well maintained, and a lot of attention to detail to make sure guests are accommodated! Would recommend this property to other guests without a doubt!
Easy to book and a great location for exploring the state. There were plenty of amenities and things to do, and the yard is completely fenced if you’re bringing a dog! This property is lovely if you appreciate older homes.
This home is an excellent place to stay in the Lewiston-Auburn area. The owners have done a great job with furnishings and other items to make the place feel homey. The neighborhood is primarily single-family homes with kids and people walking dogs. The street has very little traffic, and there are sidewalks on both sides of the neighborhood roads.
Fantastic home! And when I say home I mean it! It makes you feel like your at home! Close to everything you would want! Easy to get to, off street parking and a game room to boot!! Highly recommend!
This was the perfect place to stay while visiting friends in the area. I read in an older review that there was a smoke smell, but thankfully we didn’t have that issue. I would definitely stay here again!
Property was close to Bates College which is why we were there. It was close to restaurants and other things to do as well.Weather wasn’t great so couldn’t enjoy the outside space. Things were clearly communicated. Lots of notes and tid bits about what to do in the area or places to eat which was nice.Seems like they are they trying to update the place as they can as there were a couple of “coming soon” signs. It is an older house…but overall fit what we needed. Keurig with k-cups was a plus! We didn’t cook anything so can’t comment on equipment, but looked plenty stocked.Host was responsive to my questions. Beds were comfortable. Lots of games to play for all ages!!Could use a deep clean since they allow dogs, but it wasn’t terrible.
We found this to be a fantastic place to stay in the Lewiston/Auburn area. The house is in a very pleasant neighborhood where every street has sidewalks and people are out and about. The host has done a great job providing amenities. There are the usual pots and pans but also games for kids (and adults that like kids games). The backyard is fenced in with a tall privacy fence. There appeared to be plenty of furniture for being outside. We were there during the cold and snow of January and didn't have a chance to take advantage of sitting outside. Communications with the host were quick and helpful.
Convenient location & great fenced in yard for the dogs
Overall our stay was great. The house was clean, convenient and the yard is a plus. Our only complaint was the strong smell of cigarette smoke left over from a previous guest. The owner was kind enough to give us a discount due to the smell. We do not smoke and so it was very noticeable to us.
This home in Auburn was wonderful for my 3 adult daughters and 18 mo old grandson. It was very well equipped for a toddler with built in gates, extra gate, pack n play and high chair. These items made it very comfortable for my daughter and her son. The rooms were charming, beds very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. Very cute back sitting area, deck and yard even though we didn't get an opportunity to use it. The air conditioning was wonderful to have on the hot humid days. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
This has been one of my best vacation stays! The location is perfect and the property is incredibly cute! Amenity filled home with lots of space. If you are traveling with dogs or small children (we were not, we have TWO teenaged girls!), this is the perfect place! There are so many areas to spread out and not feel crowded. Our travel day started at 2 am so the sunroom was the perfect spot to nap upon arrival. All four of us enjoyed the cozy sectional with the breeze from the table fan and overhead fan throughout our stay. My husband and I enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and evening stools throughout a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is filled with multiple pots, pans, grill equipment and big pots for your own steamed seafood dinner at home. (Beware, it is a messy process!!!) Our youngest spent hours on the swing in the backyard, we were thrilled her happy place was found away from home. The living room provided ample space for us to hang out as a family, along with the detached garage with foosball table. Our bedrooms were cozy and comfy while having plenty of space for all of us. The multitude of games provided was fun, we even attempted one of the puzzles. There are still many wonderful things about this property I have not mentioned, there are so many, it was just simply perfect! I will forever be greatful to our hostess for proving such a beautiful home in which we made incredible vacation memories in!!

Area
Well it was clean and very well stocked. However, needs a few things. Mostly a curtain or shade in the upstairs bathroom. Also needs to get rid of the dead plants. Shouldn't be guests job to water. Could either over or under water. Back yard needs some attention too. When we left there were four cop cars on the next street over. For us it was good but again needs some TLC.
We have stayed at this location a few times now. The host does an excellent job ensuring the property is ready, and all communications are prompt and clear. The house is located in a nice family orientated neighborhood full of sidewalks for easy walks and it is minutes from the center of the towns of Auburn and Lewiston. We will stay here again when we next visit the area.
