This is one of the most unique and amazing accommodations we have ever stayed in! The tree-house is just as beautiful as the pictures show; it is located a short walk nestled into a small hill where you are truly in your own little world. The owners provided a cart and plenty of lighting so that getting to/from the house is a breeze. My wife and I stayed here on the last night of our anniversary trip and had tons of space for just the two of us. Although we didn't have a ton of time, we did venture out onto the trails that lead over to the state park for a short walk. We also ended up taking a quick trip over to Freeport to visit one of the local breweries for a pint and dinner. Afterwards, we spent the evening taking in all the views, listening to the small collection of vinyl, and enjoying the gas fireplace. For those with small families -> In addition to the queen sized bed on the main floor in the fox "snout", there were spots up in the fox "ears" where 1-2 kiddos could sleep as well - if we are ever in the area again we would not hesitate to bring our boys and stay again! The owners were VERY responsive and helpful. We booked this through Expedia, which it seems is redirecting from VRBO. I was able to communicate with the owners via the chat/messaging function in the Expedia app with no issues. Overall, this was absolutely the best way we could have spent our last night in the NE area. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!
