Downtown "Red Room" at Villages on Aurora

Summary:
Welcome to our downtown getaway! Village on Aurora is located in the heart of downtown Ironwood putting you steps away from Ironwoods City Square and the Historical Ironwood Theater. Lake Superior is only a short drive North of Downtown leaving you minutes away from waterfalls, and beaches. Our area has a multitude of different types of trails (hiking, biking, cross country, snowmobile, ATV) many just steps from your front door. Electric car chargers are also available in the downtown area making this the perfect place to charge while you stay. Our large parking lot accommodates your enclosed trailer parking for all your toys you bring to enjoy the outdoors. The Red Room features local Upper Peninsula decor and custom furniture. A Queen bed in the master and full in the 2nd bedroom. Sofa sleeper for additional guests. Room has a large picture window overlooking Western end of town. Come enjoy the peace and quiet our area has to offer while also benefiting from the amenities of being right downtown.

Clean and as advertised

Very clean, quirky apartment in a repurposed movie theater. Beds were comfortable, shower hot and host responds immediately. Nature provides the rest with the reliable lake snow effect. Will come again

Perfect spot in town, very clean and comfortable. Pet friendly!

We enjoyed how close this location was to downtown and trails for hiking. We also really appreciated that it was pet friendly. Two reasons we didn’t go full stars on the review…one was temp set to 68 but actually way warmer and not responsive to adjusting, and the lock on the door wasn’t all that user friendly.

Didn’t actually stay

Did not indicate that the only access to the property was via stairs. Number of bags and stairs can be a struggle. Technology not functioning so no TV. Owner nonresponsive until too late to cancel. Did nothing to make things right. Packed back up and left.

Perfect Location!

Our stay was perfect! From the moment we walked through the door we felt as comfortable as we would if we were at home. The property was clean, easy to access, and close to everything! We will definitely stay here again for our next trip to Ironwood.

Great place at a great price

Very cute remodel. Room was a bit chilly and we couldn’t figure out the temperature control. Walls are a bit thin. The bed was comfortable. Centrally located. We would definitely stay again! Smooth check in and easy check out instructions. A+

Love this place!

This is my second stay in apartment red and we enjoyed it as much as the first time - we just wish we would have gotten in earlier to be able to spend more time there. It’s very comfortable and clean and adorable.

Perfect place for a northwoods getaway

The unit was extremely affordable given all the positive qualities it offers for me. It is clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with the essentials. The only suggested improvements would be to sharpen the knives and replace the cutting board. I would definitely consider coming back for my next ABR ski vacation.
