Mountain Time! Private Suite 1/4 mi to Purgatory. Perfect base camp.

This unit is the Pond View Room. This Suite upstairs is 1/4 mile from Purgatory Ski Resort, 30 minutes from Durango, 20 minutes from Durango Hot Springs and 30 minutes from Silverton. The Nugget bar and grill is right across the street. This spacious room is 336 sq ft with a king bed. It is equipped with a kitchen sink, Kurig, microwave and frig/freezer (no stove). The couch will fold down to a twin size bed. Private entrance. Free parking. There are no shared indoor spaces. This is the perfect base camp for adventure. Location Location! We have parking for trailer if you are bringing your toys.

Very nice place

Everything was new, fresh, clean and comfortable . Bed is a foam mattress which was bit on the firm side. I had a hard time unlocking the door with the code which we received after I contacted them when we were 30 minutes away. This is the only complaint I had. You have to walk up the stairs with your luggage. Overall we loved our stay and it was really close to the wedding that we attended.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because of it great location. We are just a few minutes from Purgatory. We have great views. At this property we have the best of both worlds, being in a forested area but having very easy access to get in and out of the property.

What makes this property unique

The main benefit of this property is its location. Easy access in and out. Purgatory, hiking trails, restaurants are all within 5 minutes. The views are pretty great too.
