Perched above Highway 28, our home enjoys sweeping panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains. We believe in setting honest expectations—because of this elevated location, you will hear some traffic from the highway below. Like many homes with exceptional views, it’s simply part of the setting, and most of our guests feel the breathtaking scenery and convenient location are well worth the tradeoff.

A terrific time at "Tahoe Tranquility". The communication with Ginger, our hostess, was very timely. We found the property to be as advertised, clean, comfortable, well apportioned, and with incredible views from the deck and living/dining room. Our hostess greeted us on arrival and had prepared fresh scones and had beverages in the refrigerator. I can highly recommend staying here.

We had such a wonderful stay at this property. Beautiful lake view, clean and cozy rooms, and a very accommodating host. Ginger responded so well to all our needs/ issues with a cheery attitude. She even made a pan of homemade chocolate chip brownies for us. The kitchen was on the small size but completely doable.

Ginger is one of the best hosts we have ever had. She welcomed us with everything ready to go, including age-appropriate toys for our grandchild! Our stay at Ginger's Tahoe home was wonderful! She greeted us with a warm welcome and a little tour of the house so we would feel comfortble and right at home. It was obvious she had thought of everything.The kitchen was very well stocked with all the staples we might need for an enjoyable stay, along with some thoughtful extras, and a complete coffee bar. An added bonus is the balcony where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and watching the sunset at night. Also, the beds were very comfy, and the bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. Ginger was an amazing host. The details were by far more than expected, from the fresh baked brownies at arrival, amenities for our pup Enzo, and even providing loofah sponges in the bathroom. The home was very clean and had amazing views of Lake Tahoe. We spent our evenings out on the deck enjoying a glass of wine, the view of the lake and the beautiful sunsets.

I cannot say enoug great things about our stay here. Ginger was absolutely amazing. She opened her home to us and made sure that all of our needs were met. The views are stunning. We wanted a relaxing couple of days near Lake Tahoe and found this home. Everything was great. The home and the views were amazing. Anything that we could think of that we might need was already provided, and on top of what was provided with the rental Ginger was very accommodating and an amazing host. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had a good trip and had everything that we needed. This was an all around amazing experience and we look forward to visiting again!

Our stay at this location was amazing! The views were incredible and the house was clean, spacious and FULLY stocked (we could have only brought clothes, and we would have been set). We were even provided new loofahs in the shower! The host, Ginger, is wonderful and very responsive. She was kind to our pup and even provided treats and water bowls for her. There was also a nice assortment of books for all ages! Since the house can get warm, it was so nice to have plenty of fans available to keep ourselves cool. And, the wrap around deck was a plus to hang out on in the evenings. We will definitly be back! Thank you, Ginger!

The house is in a great location & very clean. Host lives on property. Quiet hours start at 8pm. Host provided all the essentials, which was super kind. No AC, lots of fans, but still got too warm late afternoon & at night for comfortable sleeping. Great outdoor deck space with beautiful views, road below was very loud. With no AC had to have windows open, so pretty loud inside too while sleeping. Home is quite outdated, dark and low ceilings for the rooms downstairs. Appreciated the host’s hospitality - she made us brownies.

This property was truly spectacular. I chose it primarily for the views, and it exceeded my expectations. The daytime scenery was stunning, but the highlight was witnessing the full moon shimmering over Lake Tahoe—an experience I was fortunate to enjoy.The host was exceptionally gracious, providing detailed instructions for everything. It was evident that she invested considerable thought and time to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there was a wealth of local literature and tourist information available.Another outstanding aspect was her preparation for our dog. The host provided dog bowls, beds, toys, and covers for the furniture and beds, making our furry friend feel at home. We felt very comfortable staying there with our dog, and she seemed equally at ease.I would definitely consider staying here again.

We discovered on our many holiday trips to Tahoe, that it was virtually impossible to stay in Tahoe at an affordable price and enjoy the Lake Tahoe view. When we discovered this lovely home, with this incredible view, we immediately purchased it, without a moments hesitation.
Our lazy little neighborhood is filled with families and kindness, we walk along the lane and trails enjoying wildlife and conversations.
