Very quiet and clean location outside of Watertown. Rural location, but easily within a few miles of many restaurants, groceries, department stores, etc. It is also a great place to stay when visiting relatives at Fort Drum.
I would recommend staying here. It was very clean. It had everything needed for our stay and even a couple things we forgot. Very nice communication Will stay again 😊
Its a lovely location. The host was very easy to work with. Very quick responses. We enjoyed the wildlife out back. The sofa and love seat were very uncomfortable and worn-out.
We were attending the Sackett’s Harbor marathon. Location was perfect to get to and from and access other areas. The beds were comfortable and coffee readily available. We ate out frequently but the kitchen was stocked for cooking and storing food items.
Everything was as described. Easy communication. Great location for us. Clean and many little extras provided. Will stay again if we need to be in the area. Thank you so much.
Nice refurbished home in the country. Everything was adequate for our needs. Saw the deer in the backyard! Could use some more light in the small shower. Overall, a pleasant place to stay.
I’m going to write the pros and cons.Pro: everything was clean (except for the oven)Beds were comfortable.Enough room for us 5 adultWi-Fi was fine.TV was fineHost was always available.10 minutes or less from town.Host book included some eateries that were nearbyPlenty of lights and outlets.Good parkingCons:It is advertised that there is a bunk bed to sleep in yet there is no way to actually get up top. I even called and asked if there was a ladder. The answer was no.The shower is SO SMALL. I am 5’8” and to shower I had to take the hand sprayer down so I could soap up and even then I was pushing out the curtain. Then use the sprayer to rinse as the hose itself sticks out into the shower stall. My husband just didn’t shower. It just wouldn’t have worked at 6’ tall. The worst part were the flies. We must have killed about 20 of them the first day we got there. All were in the bathroom by the back door. They did have 2 fly swatters on hand. The second day we didn’t see any. That problem needs to be addressed.
