Great house, clean, and comfortable! Not quite ski in and out when there is no snow on the road but still easy to get to the mountain. Great communication with the owner. We will stay here again highly recommended.

Perfect house for groups with numbers. Easy access to slopes and base of Mary Jane. The Sonos system was a treat. You can tell that the owner values families and has this ideal place for their own.

We loved this house. Clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities. The sauna was nice to have at end of ski day. We loved the books and toys for the grandkids. The TV is in the downstairs area which we liked. The surround sound music was nice. Big kitchen with 2 dishwashers worked well for our group. Would highly recommend this home.

spacious home close to slopes

The listing for this house is spot on - it is a great home for bringing together lots of family and friends. Plenty of beds, multiple rooms and levels for hanging out, nice hot tub and sauna, quiet study, and a well stocked kitchen. Experienced skiers in our group loved to walk short distance or ski out back to trail heading to Winter Park base, while kids and less experienced skiers could walk or do short drive to Mary Jane.

Great Friend Reunion House!

We had an absolutely amazing week at Mary Jane! The house could not have been any better prepped for us. Plenty of linens and towels, kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals for all 18 of us, we only went out 1 night and recommend The Ditch downtown if you do want to go out. Ski in and out was doable for just about everyone in our group, backyard had plenty of snow to get down to the cat and the road was snicked all week to get back to the front door. We had plenty of room to both spread out and be able to come together have fun all week long!

A magic week in snow heaven.

Our family of 14-- kids, wives, and grandkids-- just spent nine days at this wonderful house in late March, the grandkids' Spring Break. We feared the worse as far as snow conditions went, but Winter Park had a huge snow dump two days before we arrived, another as we arrived, and some snow for most of the days we were there, making for very happy skiers. Kari Jo, the house manager, is so nearby she can be helpful almost instantly, and her input was invaluable. It is a magnificent, well-equipped property and we recommend it highly.

It's really wonderful to contribute to a special family week. The setting was perfect with the right guests, in the right home, at the right time. Thank you for making me smile and sharing your kind thoughts. I will make sure the Owner's see them, as well. Kari Jo

Review

Very nice house. Well stocked kitchen & pantry The only negative is there is a leaking roof/wall that continuously drips in the garage ceiling. Before too long the Sheetrock will probably fall.

Thank you for the review Gary! Yes, the leak was a problem. We ended up finding the source buried under feet of snow on the roof (a smashed vent). It is now in the process of being repaired. We apologize for any inconvenience that caused.

Haughey Family Ski Trip

Our family of 14 started planning for this trip a year in advance. Our main goal was to all be together in one place for meals and games. This house was a perfect fit. Plenty of room for all of us. The little kids were a bit scared to sleep in top bunks with no rails. Our skiers didn’t feel confident to ski in/ski out but still got in plenty of skiing. Winter Park resort area was great. We loved a Snow Cat tour, Ice Skating, Waffles!, and the shops. Our oldest grandson, age 8, declared we should come back next year!

Wedding Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at the Palen's home in Bridger's Cache! We had our wedding here and the immediate wedding party stayed in the house. The house is beautiful as well as the setting in this remote location in the mountains. It was everything I envisioned it to be! Kari Jo (the property manager) was more than helpful and immediately began open communication with us to make our special day achievable. THANK YOU SO MUCH! The wedding was BEAUTIFUL!
