The bunk room has 3 full bunks, 1 which is a full-size bottom bunk and a fun additional "sky" bunk to sleep 8 Total. Pull out sofa in loft to fit 19/20th guest.

Absolutely the very best host we have ever experienced!

The cabin was wonderful! Cozy and the Christmas decorations were just perfect. We will definitely be back one day...hopefully soon! I can't brag on the host and the cabin enough!

Snow vacation

Deluxe Log Cabin with killer views of the great Smokey Mountains. Tons of room to spread out. Family of 16 age range 4 - 86. Pool table, Ping Pong, cards, Fooseball, and games galore. Wonderful Time was had by all. Close to shopping, hiking, skiing and snow tubing. Excellent choice!

Wedding weekend

This cabin was nothing short of amazing as well as the owners! Everything was just as expected and the communication was 10/10. VERY pleased with some last minute changes for my elopement due to hurricane Helene!! Homeowners absolutely gave me the ok for accommodations and left some take aways for my husband and I!

Amazing House!

What a beautiful house and location for a large family weekend getaway! There are many beautiful areas to gather as well as many nooks to take a quiet moment. The kitchen was well stocked and the layout suited four generations of our family ranging from 1 yr old to 80 yrs old. The hosts were quick to respond to questions and needs. We would be happy to stay there again!

Beautiful home and an amazing stay!

We had an incredible time in Maggie Valley and enjoyed the home greatly. There was ample space for everybody to enjoy themselves and do different activities. The basement was perfect for the younger group to hang out and play games while the rest of us could hang out upstairs. All of the rooms were large and had plenty of space. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating which made our stay easy going. Would definitely visit again!

Beautiful views from the deck with an amazing game room in the basement. Excellent location for hiking both in the smokies and blue ridge. Great golf course and an easy drive to Waynesville and Asheville. Thank you for sharing an amazing house.

Family Thanksgiving

Our large family met to celebrate Thanksgiving. This this very spacious home! Views were beautiful, lots of games, space to spread out and sleep. We had our dinner catered and it was delicious. Owners were very responsive and description on Vrbo was very accurate. I highly recommend this property.

Best Family Gathering Ever!

This home was perfect for our Thanksgiving Family Gathering. The description was totally accurate. We were 20 in number and everyone had comfortable space. The views are spectacular. Absolutely Perfect

We were so thrilled with the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home. Nothing was left to chance and we wanted for nothing. Stunning property, close to everything, amazing views

We have been visiting the greater Asheville area for several years, and this is by far the best property we've stayed at. The cabin was stunning and beautifully situated in a private valley. It was the perfect mountain retreat for our family. We enjoyed the trail by the property and also the waterfalls that were just ~15 minutes away. The house was very conveniently located to shopping and a short drive to Asheville. The house was also well stocked with everything we could want, from fireplace kindling to board games for our kids. Everyone in our family wants to come back next year!

MAGNIFICENT!!

Our party of 10 absolutely loved this house. We all enjoyed the beautiful bedrooms, the well- appointed and large kitchen, the game rooms, and the spacious common areas. The decks (w/Bar-B-Q), the panoramic view, and the library are all bonuses. There are good golf courses, excellent restaurants, nice shopping in great little towns all within 30 minutes or less. We couldn't ask for anything more. The owners are very accomodating, very helpful and very easy to deal with....a wonderful 4 days. We will be back.

A Crowd Pleaser!

Our family (18 of us) had plenty of room in this wonderful house! The children loved the bunk room. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. It was also nice to have the two extra refrigerators in the garage. It might help to have a designated cabinet for pantry items. You could not ask for a better view from the back deck. Gorgeous! The owners checked on us several times. Hope to go back sometime!

Family Vacation 2023

This is a truly remarkable home. I loved the large table that accommodated all of our family for meals. There was plenty of room to spread out. The only downside for us was the age of the children and the stairs in the house. I think the parents of slightly older children- maybe five and up - would feel more comfortable with the stairs and decks. But that’s an issue with our family, not the home. The home is truly beautiful.

Pictures don't do it justice.

This place was amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. Apart from the house, view, and location being great, the small things were the icing on the cake. You rarely find a house with a fully stocked kitchen, 2 refrigerators, and enough parking for multiple cars. This house had it all. Not to mention, Sam was a great host. We accidently set the fire alarm off late one night and he was very accommodating and called to check to make sure everything was okay. Our group does a lot of traveling all of over the world and we are regularly staying in AirBnb/VRBOs when we do so. This was the nicest one yet.

Pictures don't do justice

I ended up booking this cabin after reading the other reviews that said the pictures don't do the home justice. They were so right! This place is beautiful and was perfect for our wedding party. We comfortably slept 19 for the weekend and everybody really enjoyed themselves. I had bride brain and booked for one less night than I actually needed. Sam fixed the reservation by adding the extra night in just a couple of minutes. We also had people arriving from different states all throughout the day we were supposed to check-in. Sam let us arrive at the cabin early in response to our last minute request. The fact that he was so accommodating during the whole thing took a lot of stress off of an already flustered bride! Thanks so much!

Rocky start, but turned out fine

A week before traveling, I messaged the owner with a few questions, but no reply. I never received a Welcome email, with instructions on check in . They morning of check in, I messaged the owner again. No response. We arrived at the house, no one to greet us and still no response to a second message. We had to call VRBO who had to reach out the owner's cell phone. Our whole group waiting for over an hour, locked outside the house. Hardly an apology initially from the owner, who said he hadn't checked his email and he must have sent my welcome email to someone else. Cleanliness was an issue - we had to wash 3 bed blankets due to dust and odor. The basement level with the pool table, games and another bedroom was full of dust - so much that our kids could not sleep down there. Other than the above, the house was secluded with a nice view. There was plenty of space and a nice porch. Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite our rocky start.

Beautiful home

The Eagles Nest is a beautiful home in Maggie Valley. Very well equipped with everything we needed. The lower level kept everyone busy with the game rooms- every age group enjoyed this space. Gorgeous views!! Sam and Tina were great hosts. Having a land line was helpful also because of spotty cell reception. We recommend this beautiful home!!

The Owners family resides in the Atlanta, GA area for the last 30 years and has been enjoying Maggie Valley for the last 25 years. Hope you enjoy The Eagles Nest as much as we do.

We have been coming to Maggie Valley for years and it never changes. The Maggie Valley golf course is a wonderful Mountain/Valley course, and the ski area makes it a blast, in the winter! The surrounding towns like Wayneville (antique/furniture/Restaurants), Cherokee (Harrah's Casino) and of course wonderful Asheville - are all within 30 mins!
