We're pleased that the property's proximity to Purgatory, the on-site ski rental shop, covered parking, well-equipped kitchen, and the overall coziness contributed to your satisfaction. We appreciate your honest evaluation of some areas for improvement. We apologize for any inconvenience related to the gear and luggage haul up stairs, and we will consider ways to make this process more convenient for our guests. Your comment about the beds is noted, and we will speak to the owner about adding mattress toppers to make the beds softer as well as the "couch bed", and or look into replacing them. In the meantime we will have our inspectors check the beds as well. We will also note that the Master Bathroom Shower seemed small to you. We are glad that your over all stay was enjoyable. We do not advertise the property as having air conditioning but we do advise (what you said exactly) to open the windows at night to allow cool air in and close them during the day to keep it cool :) We are glad you enjoyed the property and were able to see so much of the Durango / Silverton / and Ouray area. We're glad you had a fun time in Durango and enjoyed your stay here. We provide pictures of every bedroom so guests know what to expect. It is a smaller room with the bunk beds but it leads into the bathroom and provides additional sleeping area which guests generally appreciate, but there is no window.
