Perfect private romantic retreat ! Enjoy glorious mountain views from our spacious and luxurious sky loft. 3 minutes to the Phoenicia Diner and Woodstock Brewing. 20 minutes to Belleayre and Hunter Mountains. Showcase spa bathroom with stone and glass steam room and giant soaker tub. Stroll to restaurants and stores on Phoenicia's Main Street. Hike the mountains from our back yard . 15 minutes to Woodstock .

You won't beat this gorgeous, warm and luxurious space, way up in the treetops with views of Catskill Mountains all around. 1000 sq foot romantic retreat with magnificent designer bathroom featuring two person soaker tub and glass , tile and stone steam shower room with bluestone bench . This spacious hideaway feels secluded but is only 2 minutes walk from all the conveniences of the charming village of Phoenicia. No car required- bus direct from Port Authority. Swimming, lakes and waterfalls close by. 20 minutes from Woodstock.

Nestled between mountains and the Esopus River, the Loft is an eclectic mix of old world comfort and super modern European luxury. With it's own private stairway access on the exterior of our building , It occupies the entire third level of our beautiful center hall colonial home. Reclaimed barn wood, multiple windows ,wide pine floor boards and lovely mountain views add to the ambiance. All the mod cons with 55 inch flat screen tv with movies streamed from Netflix and Hulu via Roku player and fast wi fi. Please note there is no kitchen in the loft - we provide a Keurig coffee maker with assorted pods, electric kettle , microwave and bar fridge. Miles of pristine hiking trails await, easily accessible from the Parish Field behind our home . Phoenicia is Old World Americana- a hidden gem of a town on the verge of rediscovery.

Brios has great wood fired pizzas, and the famous Phoenicia Diner on Route 28 is fabulous. Also try Sweet Sue's or Maeve’s place for breakfast or lunch and the craft beer and cuisine at Woodstock Brewing should not be missed . Drive 10 minutes to dinner at The Peekamoose for locally sourced produce cooked with love and flair in a beautiful setting.

Walk five minutes in any direction, and you are in the middle of unbridled wilderness. Wonderful hiking accessible from behind our property, cross country skiing, snow tubing trout fishing, seasonal festivals, you name it!. A haven for lovers, writers, artists, musicians, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Please note the loft is accessed by a private exterior stairway - be sure you’re comfortable negotiating three flights of stairs ( around 30 steps in total) before going ahead and booking.

It's quiet; it's warm; the hosts communicate well; it's a great location that is walking distance to everything in Phoenicia, and there is a spectacular set-up in the bathroom. This was the second time my wife and I stayed at Kerry's place, we loved it so much we came back. One of the highlights for us was the oversized tub, which made for a very relaxing way to unwind after hiking. Highly recommended

This was the perfect place to stay for our mini honeymoon. Very spacious and cozy. The bathroom was what made us choose this location and it did not disappoint! The tub and steam shower were amazing after our long hikes. The town is so cute! Check in and out was easy with the details sent out ahead of time. The views of the mountains were beautiful, we saw an eagle while we were drinking coffee on the porch. We were missing our pets and even had a kitty befriend us. We hope to come back again in the future!

Perfect location in the heart of Phoenicia. Loved the proximity to Belleayre and the ability to walk to Brios for dinner/drinks. The loft was cozy and clean, and the bathroom/tub was perfect for relaxing. Loved all the windows. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect little getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the loft! We went to see a show at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock and this place was under 20 mins from the venue. Very comfortable king size bed, loved the rustic boho vibes. The bathroom was a dream, highly recommend indulging in the steam shower and doing a cold tub plunge afterwards! Overall this was a beautiful spot tucked in the mountains and we can’t wait to come back and check out the town that’s just a short walk down the road.

Amazong Weekend Away

This property was perfect for a quick weekend getaway with my partner. The place was clean and inviting. There were a few snacks along with coffee and tea provided by the hosts. A Little Piece of Heaven in the Loft

The Loft is cozy, clean, quiet retreat nestled in the Catskills. As the photos indicate, the bathroom is next level, quite nice. Other features we liked included the ample closet space, the access to the Tanbark hiking trailhead a minute's walk away, and being right in downtown Phoenicia, so there were a few restaurants, a market, and some other stores all within a few minutes walk. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful retreat

This loft is a hideaway in the Catskills. You wake to the sun rising over the mountains, which you can watch while sitting on a small deck while sipping coffee or tea. Romantic Catskills escape

Beautiful, peaceful, and I didn't want to leave that bathroom ever. After a chilly and damp day of hiking, relaxing into that giant tub and steam shower along with super cozy bed and fluffy throw blankets was absolutely heaven. The fact that Woodstock Brewing and Phoenicia Diner are also under a 5 minute drive away was just the icing on the relaxation cake. They've stocked lots of lovely little amenities - snacks, coffee, half and half and seltzer in the fridge, lots of fluffy towels....Communication and check in were a breeze as well. Would absolutely stay here again.

Christmas in the Catskill mountains

We visited family for Christmas. This was the perfect place in a small quaint town to spend the Holiday. It was plenty big enough for the three of us which included our dog. The shower and large soaking bathtub were outstanding and the host did a great job decorating the apartment, it was super nice. I would say that you do have to climb some outdoor stairs to reach the loft apartment, it wasn't a problem for us, but it is something to be aware of. Thank you, we loved the apartment and had a great time.

Stylish and spacious studio

From beginning to end, we found our stay in Kerry and Bex’s studio loft to be enjoyable. The king-sized bed was very comfortable, and there is a good-sized living area as well. The bathroom is quite large with a huge shower that has lovely tile work and several powerful jets. There’s also an oversized tub with a view of the mountain. The owners provide plenty of closet and drawer space as well. Most impressive are the small but important touches - plenty of soft bath towels, a large assortment of teas and coffees, creamer in the fridge, yummy snacks, and high quality bath and shower products. Overall, the loft is delightful!

So Nice We Did It Twice

We stayed here in early autumn '24, and returned four months later in winter '25 because we liked the property so much. It's a blissfully serene retreat in Ulster County.When everything goes as planned, it's easy to have a nice experience, but when things go sideways, one can discover valuable info. In our case, the entire town had a power outage during our stay. We're delighted to report that we had great communication with our hosts. We discussed some contingency plans in case of a protracted outage, and they shared information as it became available. In the end, the outage was only a few hours, but we were heartened by how our hosts handled a potentially difficult situation.Apart from the rental itself, we were again delighted by the local restaurant options, their quality, and their service. Having a gem of a town to surround such a lovely rental is why we're already thinking about when we might be able to return.
