Anchorage midtown stay

We enjoyed our stay. The location is convenient to many things. It's within easy walking distance of Walmart. Communication with the host was good. The bed was comfortable.

Not bad for a short stay.

Overall it wasn’t a bad stay for one night, had a small miscommunication with the passcode being change and the kitchen didn’t have many utensil's to cook with but we made it work. It’s not bad at all for a night or two close to town and all the activities.

Great little spot

We loved this apartment for two separate one night stays during a long Alaska trip. Close to everything. It had everything you could want (except we couldn’t find a toaster!) and the washer and dryer was awesome to have. Comfy bed and good water pressure for showers. The host was kind enough to let us check in early too.

It was a great stay and really liked the cozy feeling of the apartment and the cleanliness. Wished there would have been a little laundry soap provided to wash the bath towels and wash cloth in there was only one set provided.

Nothing to like about that place, we got there and everything was dirty, they didn't even make the bed prior to out check in. We had to wash the bed sheets and blanket ourselves, there was trash all over the little living room and bathroom the old couch were dirty. We took a video on how we found the place and I called the number to report it and the guy who answered got mad because I woke him up at 6:50 am. Horrible service.

Good, not great

The apartment was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was bare minimum - only one regular sized spoon. The owner never responded when we had a question about the thermostat; that was very disappointing. Luckily, the apartment warmed up after we closed the window that had been left open. Overall a good space in a good location.

Anchorage VRBO

The VRBO had strong cleaner smell when we opened the door. Made my eyes water after opening windows for a few minutes it was fine. If you need to reach Corbin during your visit hopefully he responds. We never heard back from him during our stay. Luckily it wasn’t an emergency. There was only one cereal spoon and no dish towel or dishcloth. I dropped something under the bed and noticed it needed a little attention.

We had to cancel our plans at the last minute for a family emergency. My one complaint was the landlord/owner didn’t reply to my message that we weren’t coming. I completely understand the cancellation policy and didn’t expect a refund of any kind but acknowledgment of my message we wouldn’t be there would have been appreciated.

The house is great and the perfect size for a quick trip to Anchorage. It had everything you need to be comfortable during your stay. My only recommendation would be to specifically state that there is no air conditioning. The listing doesn’t include it as an amenity but if you don’t know to look for it, you might be surprised. There is a fan in the bedroom that made a huge difference so we appreciate that. We will definitely stay there again.

Place is fine; more pillows on the bed wouldBe nice. The owner didn’t leave my wife and I any toilet paper which was a pleasant surprise to find out at 3AM when you have to go.

Great location, easy access, and blackout curtains! Only issue was no SALT. They had pepper, Italian and plenty of other said dressings we didn't use, but no salt.Oatmeal was still eatable even without salt and thanks for the great stay.

Perfect for our stay prior to our final destination to smaller Alaska town. We just needed a stop off to shop and stay before returning to our Alaska work station. Great price for the summer, and just what we needed! Instructions were clear and concise and we were able to get in and out with ease. Parking space available too, and was great because we rented a car. Would stay here again!

Visit to Anchorage, Alaska

When we first drove up, we noticed parking was tight. When we walked into our home away from home, it felt just right. Lots of light, very clean and everything we needed. The bed was firm but comfortable. Access to Walmart and the Seward highway was nice. The owners were friendly and easy to talk to. We took several trips down the Seward Highway to see the sites and walk some trails. So Awe inspiring! We haven’t seen the Beluga’s or salmon yet, but hoping we will!
