Welcome to Sunshine House! 2BR, 1 BA, 1000sf of relaxing, peaceful space. Enjoy a well-equipped eat-in kitchen, inviting living room with dining area, hi-speed wifi, Roku. Bath has slipper tub w/shower & stackable w/d. Bedrooms have comfy beds and crisp, fresh linens, bath robes, and monitor. Outside you'll find a private, fenced yard with fire-pit. There's a convenient doggy door to fenced dog run. Close to parks, Golden Gardens Beach, Sunset Hill, downtown Ballard! We're a dog-friendly home.

Charming house that feels like home right as you step in. Beautiful decor, interesting books, easy to use technology.I have never been in a rental so thoughtfully stocked for a short stay. We had everything we needed and little touches like a fully stocked medicine cabinet was super helpful. Yard was adorable and a great place to hang out. Communication was top notch and easy check in and out. Sunshine house is sunshine!

The house and property is cozy, warm, well appointed and welcoming to people and pets. Every area was comfortable, clean, accommodating. With out a doubt one of the nicest homes I've rented and I would not hesitate to stay again. Seven days was not long enough! Quiet, perfectly located in a safe community neighborhood! Hosts were attentive and welcoming. Five star!!

Sunshine House is hands-down our favorite stay anywhere. From the house itself, and the small, thoughtful touches throughout, to the beautiful, friendly neighborhood and our excellent hosts, we could not ask for a more lovely place to stay in Seattle! The kitchen was so well-equipped, the backyard so fun and relaxing. Springtime in Seattle is full of beautiful, blooming color, and we got the chance to sample everything from morning walks to the incredible Larson's bakery, to evening walks down to Sunset Hill itself, tide pools and friendly dogs at Golden Gardens Beach and the best kept secret in Seattle food at Un Bien. Sunshine House is the best part of a true Ballard experience!

Welcoming Home

The Sunshine House is in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood and is welcoming and beautifully decorated. High quality linens, mattresses and dishes makes it a delightful place to unwind and enjoy the area. Seasonal touches for Christmas were an added bonus to our stay.

Wonderful Ballard Home in Seattle

We loved our stay here with our adult daughter and her dog. Very comfortable setting in a great residential neighborhood.Private first floor use with a lovely outdoor space. The Sunshine House was super clean and exceptionally well-maintained both inside and out. We enjoyed all aspects of the property. The neighborhood was quiet but still centrally located. And the most impressive part was the attention to detail and all of the little extras that the host provided. The overall experience was unbelievable.

Beautifully stocked - beautifully organized

This is by far one of the standout properties I have stayed at. From the detailed organization within the property- everything labeled and intuitive- to the generosity and thoughtfulness of the hosts. This property is well stocked with helpful supplies but most of all this is just a beautiful home with an incredible outdoor space in a beautiful and convenient area.

Sunshine House lives up to name!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Sunshine House. The weather was beautiful and the house has so many places to enjoy the sun——front porch, kitchen table, dining room table, back porch, etc. It is such a comfortable and bright home. In addition, Robin and Scott made sure the house was extremely well stocked and prepared for our visit. Everything was easy to fine and at our fingertips. We have stayed in many vacation rentals but this one tops them all in terms of comfort and convenience. It is located in an ideal spot in Seattle. A classic, pedestrian neighborhood with nice sidewalks, cafes and parks. However, it’s central location in Ballard made access to downtown, UW, Green Lake and other neighborhoods easy as well. Thanks for all your have done to make our time here so pleasant and enjoyable. Rick and Leigh
