Perched on an ocean bluff near Hanalei Bay, Pali Ke Kua Unit #241 is a one-bedroom + loft, two-bath, second-floor unit with sweeping ocean views.

As of July 2021, there are 3 A/C portable units in the condo. Please note this condo does not have central AC.

The family room and dining area are bright with tropical colors, creating an atmosphere as whimsical and carefree like your vacation should be, with large windows and a sliding glass door to a covered lanai.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Pali Ke Kua. The grounds are beautiful with fantastic views and the location is ideal for exploring beaches and activities around Princeville. The unit accommodations were comfortable and clean with a nice layout. The only challenging aspect is the upstairs loft, which can be overwhelmingly hot, particularly in the afternoon. There is a portable AC unit in the room but it was putting out mostly warm air (likely from overwork). We are from Seattle so likely more sensitive to heat than most visitors. Other than that, everything else was wonderful.

Beautiful view, good location

The condo view is amazing and the outdoor patio was nice. The main floor is nice and well equipped however the loft had a broken fan, a ceiling fan that only turns slowly and a very ineffective window ac unit. It was extremely difficult to make the loft comfortable to sleep in. Two adults ended up sleeping on the sofa downstairs. I would also recommend that a Building number is provided in the address to make it easier to find. Good condo for two adults but difficult for more than that due to the very hot loft area.

Princeville Paradise

We have stayed in several Princeville locations; Kali Ke Pua has become our favorite, from the comfortable condo to the beautiful views. We enjoyed the welcome each morning from the nene and the geese.The kitchen was very well appointed, and we enjoyed the tropical fans and large windows, the very nice patio. Hope to come back next winter.

Great Condo

We stayed at this property for eight nights in July of 2022. For a family of four, it was a perfect size. The condo looked like the photos, and we were pleased with our stay. I would stay here again.

The unit was comfortable and had all the amenities needed for a stay in Princeville. The pictures in the listing were accurate and the ocean view spectacular. We also found the condo’s beach gear quite useful. The only downside was the warm temperature upstairs. There is an AC unit upstairs but it struggles to keep up.

Really enjoyed this rental. The location was great and was nice to have AC. I liked the extra equipment they had to use including the beach chairs, umbrellas, and cooler however multiple chairs were broken but no a huge deal. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable condo with wonderful views

My family and I had a great stay at this comfortable condo. The views of the lush lawn and the ocean are amazing. I miss the breakfasts out on the lanai. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and huge. Loved the beach chairs and cooler and sand toys. The pool was closed, but otherwise everything was super easy and made for a great vacation.

Pali Ke Kua 2016

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived after 11 PM and had no problem gaining access to our room. Upon arrival we noticed the carpeting was stained and spotted in L.R. and D.R. Patio door was not on track properly, and patio screen had holes in it. Kitchen cabinets and woodwork looked weathered and worn, and one door did not close. Area around burners on stove was not clean. Floor in master bath was well worn and looked dirty. Tiles on floor of both shower stalls had mold in grout, and shower drains were rusty/dirty. The master sink did not drain properly and the plug did not close. Shower curtain was filthy and the curtain rings were rusty and dirty. We chose not to use the washer and dryer as both appeared dirty inside and out. The upstairs bath mirror was not useable. Due to slanted ceiling the mirror was only a couple of feet tall and went only up to chest level.We awoke to a very pleasant view the 1st morning, and called Jackie @REMX re: the patio door problem(which was taken care of very promptly). The other issues did not seem "fixable" within the short time we were there so we decided to "live" with them. We did not have any issues w/ noise from any of the other units. 241 seemed secluded to us, and we liked the location. Only 1 time did we have parking issues, which I assume was due to business at HideAWay Pizza Pub. We were satisfied w/ the location/view. We spent most of our time away from the unit, but were disappointed in the overall condition of #241 compared to other places we have stayed in Princeville.

I loved this place! Second time staying in Princeville and this place was great. Had all the things you needed and a beautiful view. The AC was amazing after a long day in the sun. I would come back and stay here. The only caveat I have is maybe getting a new shower head. It was only coming out of some and was getting pelted. Had to shower upstairs instead. Thank you for the beautiful stay!

Love this place, it was as advertised. I’ve seen the reviews as to the upstairs being too warm at night. I do not believe that’s true any longer; although we didn’t sleep up there. It gets cool up there at night with the unit up there seeming to run fine. Very nice having plenty of towels and soap and conditioner. Some places aren’t good about that. They also have beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels. We definitely would do this place again.

Beach chairs were available to go to the cliff's edge to watch the sunset or throw on your back to walk down to the water. Very relaxing. The unit itself was nicely set and the air conditioning worked perfectly for us. Host was responsive and accommodating. Our flight wasn't leaving until later in the day so we really appreciated being able to enjoy the last day for a reasonable/flexible late check out. Hope to go back! Thanks!

We love the papakea

We loved our stay. We were here 14 years ago in a two bedroom with our kids. This condo was a one bedroom with pull out couch- very clean and comfortable. Loved the chocolate macadamia nuts ( we bought 4 more boxes while there)! Our only recommendation is the outdoor furniture was not very comfortable and could be replaces. Thanks again and we will be back soon

Everything was fine, air-conditioning was loud.

Unit has three after market floor air conditioners. They are very loud and barely keep up with the afternoon heat. We couldn't keep the bedroom unit on at night or the living room unit on when we were there. Everything else was great.
