The rental was adorable! We very much enjoyed our stay. Communication was excellent, the host was very friendly! Will definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area. :)
We love this spot in Upper Black Eddy. The property is beautiful and the house adorable and comfortable. This is our 3rd time back and it didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend!!
Place was perfect to the location we were visiting and great to be dog friendly. Our toddler loved finding all the foxes within the house and was thrilled at some of the children’s book options they had. Great space for what we needed and would love to rent again when we’re up this way!
This cozy little cottage is nestled in the hills of the Delaware River valley and is idyllic. Kasara and Dave were excellent hosts, reliable to communicate with when we had questions, and helpful. The cottage was clean and tidy, with all the kitchen amenities we needed for our stay. They had a great stash of games we enjoyed playing as well. The little fireplace heater made the space extra cozy when the Nor'Easter came through. I appreciated everything about the place from the gift of eggs from their chickens, to the crisp and clean cotton sheets and quilts on the beds. Highly recommended.
Great location for our needs. We loved the cozy feel and wooded, rural neighborhood. We loved the hospitality! Muffins and farm-fresh eggs were a pleasant surprise. We've stayed in an awful lot of VRBO properties, and this one was everything it advertised. What a great stay!
This was such a great place to stay for our family. It was cozy, comfortable, and the host was very friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. We would definitely come back to stay again!
Very clean cottage, it was cozy and inviting for us, and we were glad to see a Christmas tree! Loved coming out to this area and we would definitely stay again if we return.
House temperature was very comfortable and the kitchen met our needs as two couples for a weekend getaway. I would definitely stay here again, hopefully for a longer stay.
From the moment we arrived the property was so inviting the outdoor space was quiet and peaceful with the occasional visit from the local deers and all the amenities we needed it is a comfortable private space including a gas grill. The interior was immaculate from top to bottom! It had everything that we needed, and you could obviously tell that they went out of their way to make guests feel welcome with added touches such as an easy to operate fireplace, plenty of cozy throw blankets, fresh eggs in the fridge upon arrival from their chickens which were absolutely amazing. We actually finished what they gave us and asked for more to take with us when we left. The host was immediately responsive to any questions we and helpful by giving us several suggestions on things to do in the area. The location was great and close to some really cute towns, including New Hope, Lambertville and Peddlers Village and Frenchtown, and also some beautiful parks including Delaware Canal State Park with a beautiful trail that ran several miles long with an amazing coffee shop to stop and recharge along the way. Lastly as can sometimes happen when you are traveling, we left a few items behind. The host was more than happy to send them out to us, which was greatly appreciated!!
We greatly enjoyed the cottage, the decor, the cute fox touches and the delicious muffins! It was the perfect place for visiting our friends from Frenchtown NJ!
