The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen, 1/2 bath, sunken living room with wood-burning rock fireplace, HDTV and DVD, beachy furnishings and door to the outside where a short walk brings you to the pebble beach! There is a bar, dining room seats 6 comfortably, and large screen HDTV/DVD/with expanded cable and wireless internet access. Patio has a sling chair patio set, with a Weber gas BBQ grill (available in summer only).

The 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths are upstairs. The master suite has a captivating lake view, King size bed, vanity, full bath and private balcony! Second room has 2 single beds plus a nice window seat; 3rd room has trundle day bed.

A wonderful Tahoe rental opportunity located in Star Harbor which is a unique lakefront property with its own private lagoon, dock/pier, boat buoy or slip, tennis courts and swimming pool. Located less than one mile outside quaint Tahoe City, a short walk to town provides easy access to dining and shopping year-round. Paved bike path runs right across the front of the property and gives access to miles of wonderful bicycle riding!

Boat slip or buoy - For new reservations made after 3/13/26, the availability of buoys and slips (25 foot maximum boat length for slips) is temporarily suspended, and bookings are not guaranteed as per the Homeowners' Association (HOA). Lake Forest Boat Ramp is located at 2500 Lake Forest Rd in Tahoe City, CA

- Winter access: Chains or snow tires are often required in winter
- BBQs (propane) are not provided during winter (November–Memorial Day). Charcoal grills are banned in our area.
- Firewood is not supplied during the summer months (Memorial Day through October)
- Shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are not included
- Most have supplies like flour, sugar, salt & spices, but these are not guaranteed items
- We do not provide additional towels for beach use and encourage renters to bring them for summer stays
- For all dog-friendly properties, there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.
- Placer County STR rules: The county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing.
Some Highlights include: Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time. Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside a property, and all pet waste must be picked up. Street parking is prohibited year-round.
