About this property

Four (4) night minimum stay in this property.

Located in a forest on 2 1/2 acres on the east shore of Flathead Lake. The property has 240 feet of lakefront: the cottage is approximately 300 feet from the lakefront. The lakefront has a fire pit and wood which is available to the tenants for their use. The boathouse provides a large covered patio area and is located next to the lake; a 60 foot dock is available for swimming in the same location. Glacier National Park is a day trip away.

This property is not available during the winter season and is rented only from May through September, check calendar for specific dates. We do limit the occupancy of the cottage to two people, and do not make any exceptions to our no pet policy.

Sunset heaven

Great location and property, sunsets on lake are unbelievable. Actual unit is above garage, not near the lake. Small kitchen and sitting area with no TV. Everything is new, nice bathroom.

Sunsets

The place was very clean and tidy. Joe was was very nice and showed us around the property which was also very clean and well taken care of. Just a short way down the road from the vrbo is two steak houses with amazing food and fair pricing. Our favorite part though was the susents in the evenings over looking the lake.

Incredible place

This was an amazing place to stay between Bigfork and Polson had so much fun and the property owners were very kind people. Very comfortable would definitely stay there again.

Great location

Location was perfect. The property was beautiful. We had easy access to the lake. We took our paddle boards out and spent hours on Flathead lake swimming each day. We had a blast. Great sunsets. Glacier National Park is an hour away. This is super convenient if you aren't able to get reservations for the park since you can go in before 6am or after 3pm without a reservation. Laura and Joe were excellent hosts. We couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Why they chose this property

The property is a forested park like environment with an operating cherry orchard. It features 240 feet of lake frontage with outstanding views of Wild Horse Island, and views as far north as Whitefish Mountain. There is a 60 foot dock for swimmers with a covered patio area nearby, and a Druid like fire ring for the tenants enjoyment.

What makes this property unique

When in season, tenants may help themselves to fresh cherries in the orchard. Glacier National Park is about a one hour drive through beautiful country side. The property is 15 miles south of Bigfork, home of the renowned Bigfork Summer Playhouse, famous for it’s live musical theater.
