Absolutely beautiful place to escape. At the end of the road, essentially no neighbors. Dense woods right at your doorstep, perfect for letting a dog of leash. High wood ceilings, tastefully updated while keeping the homey feeling. Very good amenities, i.e. high quality towels and bedding. Easy to communicate with the host. No complaints at all, I will absolutely be booking this amazing place again!

My family and I spent four days at the Rocky cliff retreat and it was absolutely wonderful. It has the perfect amount of privacy, while still being easy to get to. We took my daughter’s senior portraits at the lake we’ve been going to her whole life- and then we ended up taking some on the deck of the property because it’s just gorgeous out there. The host is easy to contact and responds quickly. The kitchen literally had everything we needed and I love that the coffee maker is a coffee pot and not pods. My kids absolutely loved the basement area and officially marked this their favorite house that we’ve rented at Lake Davis. The living room is super cozy and the furniture is very comfortable- the wood burning stove just tops it off. I would love to stay in the winter with the stove going - tons of board games and an endless supply of coffee. We would easily recommend this house to anyone wanting to visit the area. I hope we end up renting it again in the future.

Only recommendation to anyone staying there is go before it gets dark. Very easy during the day but took us a while to find the address. Once we did, very easy. Everything was so comfortable and roomy. The house is much bigger than I expected and the game room had everything one would need to have a good time. Kitchen had all the dishes and utensils anyone could want. All the things you forget to bring were there for you. I couldn’t be more happy with my stay and I will be going back. Thank you Lisa for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home.

House was clean and great for two families. Two of the bedrooms are downstairs - that was the only thing that needed clarification. Nice quiet neighborhood. Good communication with host. We’d definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect getaway “ cabin in the woods” that we were hoping for!!! It had a gorgeous deck amidst the towering pine trees, a cozy wood burning stove in a large open living room, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Lisa was a very responsive guest and made us feel like welcomed guests at every stage of the process. We enjoyed the welcome gift she left for us all decorated with a bow! We would definitely stay there again!

Everything was stellar! The home is comfortable and as described. The kitchen was well designed and spacious. As someone who likes to cook, the kitchen had everything I looked for. I would have liked sharper knives and I left a note for the host. Love the main bathroom with the separate free standing tub. the shower was spacious too.

The place was perfect for getaway to the woods. Super comfortable and cozy and you can tell the hosts really took a lot of care in the furniture, bedding, kitchenware etc. Definitely would recommend. We couldn’t have been happier with the stay.
