Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. The room was perfect for what we needed it for. It was clean and just a short walk to the beach. We had dishes to use but had to wash them in the bathroom sink because there was no other sink or dishwasher. Check out we were unsure of what the expectations were so we placed all the used towels in the bathroom and dropped the keys off at the check in center. But overall we will probably come back, we will just spend a little extra for a balcony room.

Super beautiful beach and heated pool. So nice. My room had zero view but it was fine. You are there for beach. Not the room. It was clean. Pool was so clear and warm! Coffee pot, refrig and micro all good. Bed was comfy. No sink in apt except bathroom sink. Awkward. But fine. Sunrise to sunset .

Quiet little get-a-way

Room was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed for a quick little stay. Location was perfect and we had our own private beach with never more than 6 people on it at one time! The heated pool was spot on for the chilly nights. This place was quiet and very relaxing. We would definitely book here again!

We love the location and the units. It’s not a high rise so you don’t park in a huge parking lot far away from where you are staying. It’s a few steps from the beach. The rooms are updated with new appliances and furnishings. I use to stay here in the 70’s. We love having a kitchen and also a short drive to grocery stores and other places to shop and explore. Beach chairs and beach pull carts are available. All units have screen porches.
