Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was disappointed with the condo. I normally stay at another property but due to availability I had to try another this summer. I will not be back to this property. The cleanliness was not good. Behind the couch was food and dust. Same behind the beds. There was dust all over the walls in the kitchen. Rust on the refrigerator. The ice maker didn’t work. The couch and chair were so dirty I went a bought a cover up at Walmart before I would sit on them. The cleaning people didn’t speak English so when I went to exchange towels they came across as rude. The chairs were broken at the beach. No umbrellas. The lighting around the property was not good so going out at night was scary. Overall, I will not stay at this property again. They spent more time cleaning the outside than the inside of the property. Also, they had to close the pool one day because no one was checking it until it was too late. I own a pool at my home so I know this could have been avoided.

The beach & pool are just steps away. Plus putt putt golf & shuffleboard. Located near all sorts of local attractions. The staff were great! Very professional & went out of their way to ensure that we were happy. We love Silver Sands Resort & looking forward to our next stay!

As always the property was clean and well taken care of by the excellent staff. The view was excellent! The porch facing the sea was large and accommodated 4 people for sunset watching. I will be staying there again in the future.
