The quiet neighborhood has a large city park with riverside bike/walking trail just steps from the front door.

Lovely property that was well maintained and well stocked. The location is perfect for a walk along the river, to the local shopping area, and to the trolley tour. We also enjoyed relaxing on the front porch.

This is a wonderful, large, old house just a block from downtown Marietta and is also close to Marietta College and the city's historic district. The interior is incredibly spacious with amazing woodwork and other details throughout, and the furniture and bedding are very comfortable. One thing to note is that if you plan to cook (which we did not), the kitchen is somewhat limited. But in every other respect, it's just a perfect place, and we plan to return.

Historic charmer in prime Marietta location

Large, comfortable historic home within walking distance of many Marietta treasures and restaurants. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and functional bathrooms made for a delightful stay. Kitchen is small and a bit awkward but workable. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Stay!

I could not have found a more perfect property in which to stay. The house is simply beautiful and the location cannot be beat! We spent many mornings and evenings on the large porch overlooking the gazebo and river in the distance. The house and owners provided everything we needed and could've wanted, the beds and sitting areas were comfortable and the main part of town was so close. I can't wait to return!

What an amazing home. And almost felt like we were staying in a museum. The place was super clean, had everything we needed, and was in was walking distance to all the places that we needed to be. Overall it was a great stay. Rooms and beds were comfortable. The house is beautiful with lots of wood trim and floors. Having been built over 100 years ago, it has some quirks, like a tiny toilet room downstairs. There is not a stove, but there is a toaster oven and microwave. The rooms are decorated and spacious. The front porch is very nice and great for sipping coffee and watching Marietta go by.

Celebrating our friends birthday. The house is so lovely. Beautiful woodwork and even the lighting fixtures were so unique and fit the house perfectly. The front porch is great! We sat there and loved the atmosphere. The only drawback was the air conditioning not working in one of the bedrooms and no air conditioning in another bedroom.

Girls Getaway to Marietta

The house was great. Very roomy and comfortable for our group of 6. Loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the great weather. Took a walking tour of Marietta and visited quite a few great sites. Lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance of the house. We even got to watch homecoming in the park across the street as the students gathered for pictures.
