About this property

River Port | 3 Bed Condo Waterfront on Ohio River

McKennaLodging is proud to welcome you to our newest property, The Residences at McKenna Landing. We're located in Harmar, just over the bridge from the vibrant historic district of downtown Marietta. The property was originally constructed in 1937 and was home to a number of businesses over the years. After we acquired the property at the beginning of 2023, we spent about 11 months renovating the space. You will now find four beautiful apartments in the building.

River Port - a three bedroom, one bathroom apartment with a private balcony located on the second floor of the property.

Dock Side - a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment with a private balcony located on the second floor of the property. .

Harbor Master - a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment located on the main level of the building with its own dedicated deck space.

Captain's Quarters - a luxurious one bedroom, one bathroom apartment located on the main level of the building with its own dedicated deck space.

Each apartment can be rented individually, or they can be reserved in different configurations depending on your groups needs.

The place was fine, but was definitely lacking in some areas. For example, the pictures are a bit deceiving. They show common area which is not part of the unit you are staying in. There were no towel hooks in the bathroom. The beds were super squeaky so when you rolled over it was very loud. There were no kitchen towels. No dishwasher or disposal. Generally it felt like they didn't try very hard to make the place nice.

Beautiful location overlooking the Ohio river. Property was as described but needs a little attention. The property was basically clean, saw no bugs of any kind but the floors and rug in bathroom could use some cleaning. Location was quiet and peaceful allowing us to relax on the balcony overlooking the river. Host was easy to work with. There are a lot of steps to get to the 3 bedroom apartment but was manageable. This was a girls get away and we all agreed we would stay at this location again.

Great spot to sleep and recharge

We had a 4 person motorcycle trip, and this particular venue worked perfect. Right off HWY 7 with ample, flat parking, and quick access to the rooms. The option to add rooms within the same complex was very nice. There was also two fans available in the laundry room to dry out our gear after the long wet ride, and it was much appreciated. Great host, and great location.

Sister trip

Our sister trip to Marietta was just wonderful! The rental was clean and perfectly appointed. We are 3 adults so each got our own room, comfortable living room to hang out and chat and a fabulous deck ON the river. Easy kitchen with all we needed. Beautiful full moon on the river. Just perfect! AND very close to second street shopping and dining. Will definitely book again next time we come to town!

Stay overlooking the Ohio River

Beautiful view overlooking the Ohio River from the deck. Unit was well stocked and clean. There are some things needing attention such as a towel bar which was apparently pulled off the bathroom wall and burn holes in the curtains. The floors squeaked badly throughout the unit and there was not enough insulation to buffer noise from the ladies in the lower rental. Although it was a second floor unit. I counted 31 steps from the ground to the deck to enter the unit. We used this route to carry things into the rental instead of the multiple staircase main entry which has similar amount of steps. The neighborhood around the rental has some run down homes. The Boathouse Barbecue restaurant next door was a welcome find.

This is the second time we have stayed at this location for a girls birthday celebration weekend . The location on the river is beautiful and close to area attractions. The balcony overlooking the river is nice and relaxing.
