When we arrived for check-in at 3 PM, the house was in disarray. I documented the condition with photos. Since it was Sunday and the office was closed, it took some time before someone responded and arranged for cleaning. However, upon our return, we found that there was still dog waste in both the front and backyard. The shelves in the fireplace area were very dusty, and there was no closet available for coats or clothes, which was not disclosed on Verbo prior to booking. The couch was small, uncomfortable, and dirty, so we had to use our own blankets to sit on it. On the second day, the heater stopped working at 10 PM, causing the temperature inside the cabin to drop to 51F no reply ftom anyone until next day 8:25am. While I did not expect luxury, I did anticipate basic necessities and cleanliness. We left a day early and there was no compensation not even an apology.

Small and smelled like fish

The property is very cute from the outside but unfortunately inside is a bit different. It’s extremely outdated. A little sprucing up and updating could really make this property shine. The couch is very small, uncomfortable and a bit dirty. Not very functional for relaxing and lounging. The kitchen is small but functional. The pots, pans and utensils provided had food residue from previous residents which grossed us out so we ended up using our own paper plates and plastic forks. For the price I was expecting a little bit more. The location is awesome as it’s right down the street from everything! Wouldn’t stay here again but this place has lots of potential

Cute cozy cabin... low light and a few funky workings that you only get in a cute old cabin.

We enjoyed our stay, a little disappointed that the cleaners had sprayed the oven with cleaner and then forgot to wipe it out...I didn’t want to spend my get away cleaning an oven.., so the toaster oven was a god send! Something to break up the ice on the walkway would have been nice... pretty precarious.

Quiet comfort for two

This cabin was quite cozy for two people, offering a comfortable stay in a quiet wooded location. It has everything we look for in amenities and the location was perfect for sipping wine on the deck and stargazing. The kitchen was well furnished, but needs more lighted areas at the stove and sink. The fireplace created a warm glow in the morning chill and the hot tub was very roomy. The bathroom needs a bit of restoration but was very clean and adequate. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The place was nice, but two cars should be allowed if they fit

The place was nice, filled with everything you might need for a few days. More towels would have been better for the jacuzzi and pool but I had extra for the lake and used them at both places. It would be better if two cars can park in the driveway.
