BEFORE YOU BOOK PLEASE READ
From November 1- April 15 please be aware that the Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton rules about canyon travel require snow tires (3PMSF) or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home. Snow plowing on neighborhood roads is provided by local vendors and intermittent. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over snow plowing. DO NOT TAKE UBERS OR LYFTS TO THIS PROPERTY. Plan to check in between 4pm - 8pm at the latest, to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming. Please note that this home can accommodate ONLY 2 vehicles.

Winter Guided Arrival:
- At the request of the town of Brighton to ensure that no one gets stuck or lost and disturbs the locals, a staff member will meet you on the main road and guide you to your property. Plan to check in between 4pm - 8pm at the latest. This ensures we can provide assistance if necessary and helps to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming. Please do not arrive on your own even if you have stayed with us before. This keeps a positive relationship with the neighbors who appreciate it.

Whispering Pines is managed by locally owned and operated property manager Cottonwood Lodging Company where the guest experience is most important. Please reach out for information about the area and other services offered by Cottonwood Lodging.

The Whispering Pines cabin is tucked away above the canyon road in a neighborhood just over 1 mile away from Solitude Mountain Resort and 3 miles from Brighton Resort, with amazing views of the mountains and forest. This cabin has been recently renovated by loving owners who made sure to include all the comforts of home. With updated appliances, fixtures, and linens, this new vacation rental is sure to please you and your group whether you're coming out in winter for the epic snow, or planning a summer trip to enjoy all the hiking and fishing that can be found right outside the front door.

MAIN LEVEL:
-Living Room- Featuring a smart TV, sofa and cozy armchair

-Kitchen and Dining Area- All new appliances including a french door fridge, electric stove, stainless steel dishwasher, and Keurig! For seating, we have a wooden table with seats for 4 and a breakfast bar with an additional 4 seats.

-Common Bathroom- Recently renovated! Basic toiletries provided.

-Primary Bedroom- Cozy Queen bed, smart TV, and access to the side deck.

-Bunk Bedroom- Twin bunkbed and smart TV.

DOWNSTAIRS:
-Den- Houses a comfortable futon as well as a small twin bed in a nook, and a smart TV - perfect space for kids to take over! There is also a new washer and dryer, and a beverage fridge in the den.

-Common Bathroom- Recently renovated into a wet room-style bathroom! Very cool design with new tile and fixtures.

-Guest Bedroom- Queen bed and smart TV in the downstairs bedroom.

Overall it was a good experience. There were a few things at the property that could use improvement but nothing major. Upstairs bathroom wasn't able to lock, rugs were slipping around, very uneven floor downstairs. And the parking could have been more clearly marked. But we very much enjoyed our stay.

Reviewer Comments: This property needs a warning label: these are not ROADS to the cabin but narrow paths with vegetation on both sides making it difficult to navigate. The tvs never worked - apprently need very specific instructions on how to work them. BEautiful scenery but you don't want to be there in a rainstorm if you need to go back down the mountain.

An univited neighbor harasser made my stay uncomfortable and when notified nothing was done to remedy the situation. Left a horrible impression of the property and its neighbors.

Had some trouble with check in and the cleaners.Arrived and house was not clean. And meet up for getting to the house did not go smoothly. However they discounted me and made it right for the cleaners mistakes. Great views and fun getting to the house (if you have the right vehicle). I would stay again

Kickin back in cottonwood canyons

Great location and scenery. Be prepared for the drive in the winter but, staff was very hands on and made us feel comfortable with the complete experience.

perfect for family

Perfect family cabin. Be aware if you prefer eating home , or you like home cooking , there is not really big grocery store around. And if you run out of grocery during the storm , you will be stuck without food sources , unless you use food delivery. Overall cabin has everything you need. Make sure during winter use 4WD vehicle and have chains in your trunk just in case the conditions gets severe.

Hi Natalia! We highly recommend planning meals and bringing groceries with you to any of our homes as there are only small general markets nearby. We do not suggest food delivery services attempt to access our homes in the winter as the risk of them not having the proper vehicle to drive on the mountain roads in the snow can jeopardize our business license. Great place, loved our time

We had a great stay. The place was clean and the space was perfect. The views of the mountains and sunsets were wonderful. In the winter, do be sure that you have the means to get there. We have AWD and had chains. When we lost a chain on our drive, the property manager helped us pick up a new set that we bought online through O'Reilly's, so we'd be in good shape for the ice and snow. Such great service. Thank you Marissa for the help and for a great stay!
